I don't understand you people. 'This ep. is too shippy' 'That ep. isn't shippy enough' 'This plot is too complex and doesn't make sense' 'That plot was too simple' You can find something to whinge about in every ep, and god am I sick of reading the phrase "Worst Episode Ever!" I can find something to love about every Futurama ep, I think some of you are reading too deeply into it all. Just sit back and love it while it lasts, it'll be all over soon enough, I'm enjoying it while I can.

Not everybody have to love everything. Different aspects appeal to different people. Simple as that. So naturally there'll always be somebody who don't like an episode. No need to get upsaet about it. Besides if we weren't allow to critise the things we didn't like, what's the idea of having review threads in the first place? Welcome to PEEL. Enjoy it here.

Yes, but Futurama is a show sold to squillions of people. There's going to be stuff you don't like. Get over it, it's not like you ordered futurama tailored for your tatses and they failed to meet them. My main thing is I can't see how on earth people can find one episode 'One of the greates things they've ever seen on TV' then next weeks ep 'Totally sucks, 0/5.' People are wierd

I think it's safe to say that everyone here loves Futurama. We sit here and pick at the episodes out of our love for the show, and by examining every little thing as thorougly as possible we get more out of it. Also, as Teral said, different people like different things. Some people want more shippy content, some people don't want any trace of shippines at all, some people only understand mindless humor and should be watching Family Guy instead of Futurama, etc. (That last one refers to the people who say "this episode sucked, 0/5".) It's a diverse community.

I know I'm late, but I just arrived back in the States last night and watched my tape this morning. Here are my thoughts: Not a great episode. Good, but not great. It was very Simpson-esque. More specifically, I felt like it was a Futurama port of Simpsons 3F18 "22 Short Films About Springfield." That said, "22 Short Films" is one of my favorite Simpsons episodes, so go figure. The 100-cups-of-coffee conclusion was good, but I would have liked to see Fry come out of the building afterwards. Leela may never know that she was the first one Fry rescued. In addition, with the 100-cups-of-coffee, I would have liked to see a The Truman Show-like box (while commentary was going on, Truman was still being shown in the corner of the screen - the rest of the episode could still be going on while we see Fry actually drink 100 cups of coffee. And it could have been digitally edited in and animation could have been looped, so don't tell me it would have been difficult. I would have also liked a South Park-like (from the "shit" episode) count.
I did not like this ep's Amy-and-Kif bit. It seemed empty. And the talking tattoos bothered me for some reason.
There weren't any really great lines, unfortunately. One line can be an ep's saving grace.
I give the episode worse than the worst grade imaginable (not really, "Cryonic Woman" and "The Honking" were much[/i][/u] worse): B--

Took about 10 minutes in MS Paint and moved on to PhotoImpression4 for the finshing touches. Do you like it. If you, anyone, wishes post some more from the episode I have a scan thread and I'll post them there. (I'll put a link to let you know it's done) Sorry, about this episode. I like it, it's smart and great. Good episode for the first week of July (England that is) Let's hope it isn't long for the newer episodes. Ive only watched it once but it seemed like a fairly weak ep compared to the last few eps. Sure frys coffee drinking binge and Bender were sexy but it wasn't enough to save it.
When the hell are they going to give this Kif/Amy relationship a rest? Kiffs patheticness makes my ass cringe and I miss Amys slutiness.
Another thing that annoyed me is when the whale ate Leelas swimsuit, I was hoping to see Leela running around naked for the rest of the episode but in the very next scene she was all covered up with a bag, they could have at least shown Leela naked looking for a bag for a few minutes but they didn't even give us that, I feel really cheated by that.

Three Hundred Big Boys is a very hard episode to review or even classify. Although there were no major off the wall Sci-fi concepts or storylines, it wasn't a down to earth episode either. Well, it may have been in it's subject matter but not in its execution or structure. I enjoyed this episode alot. There are many great background jokes and sight gags such as Geneworks SKG, the sausage tap, Fry's lightspeed coffee-induced heroic whirlwind, the Crack Mansion, and a barfing whale. I've always been a fan of The Simpsons 22 Short Films, and although the stories weren't woven together in quite such a clever way here, the episode still works well. I loved Benders scene in the cigar shop. "I'll just take this $300 burglars kit....So, what time are you closing?". I have to say that Zoidbergs story didn't work that well, and the Proffesors was pretty pointless. Anyway overall Three Hundred Big Boys is an interesting fun episode with some good ideas that don't always work. The people that have been calling it the worst episode ever can go to hell! Sorry, I just tell it like it is, i'm a whale biologist!"

Hmm... 1)Even a swimsuit full of rotten fish can't stop Leela from being cute. 2)The Professor's girlfriend was kinda hot as well. 3)Funniest stuff in the episode was Fry going through 100 cups of coffee. 4)Is it just me, or is Zapp getting less and less funny? His one-liners have no zing anymore. 5)Barf jokes AREN'T FUNNY! Okayish episode, but not one of the best.

Good: The whale biologist. Zoidberg. Bender's cigar. Morbo's Wife. Fry's coffee. Zapp's medal.
Bad: Amy and Kif Whale vomit. Did we really need to see it throw up? Kif swimming around in the whale sick. Bender's line "All right! Closure!" It seemed odd that the writers couldn't think of a better ending other than to have Bender comment on his own storyline.
I was glad to see a break from the Fry/Leela shippy episodes we've seen in the past few weeks. I don't think the episode was Cryonic Woman-bad. More like A Fishful Of Dollars-bad. Not bad, just forgetable. C+

Didn't see the whole thing - like an idiot, I forgot to check how much tape was left, and it ran out about a minute in, so I missed a couple of minutes while trying to find a replacement tape. Good job it's repeated on Saturday... It was... okay. Some funny jokes, (but nothing that actually made me laugh out loud), some that fell flat, balancing into a fairly average show overall. It was just a light romp though, a change from the recent plot-driven stories, and it was good to have a proper ensemble show. Because... from the sound of the remaining episodes (*three* Bender shows in a row?!?) it's the last one we'll ever have. Interestingly, considering how often the comparison's come up in this thread, the Simpsons episode before 300BB on Sky was '22 Short Stories About Springfield'!

A very funny episode. I loved the bit where Bender sidles past the policemen who are watching the whale vomit. "It just goes on and on", while holding a wanted poster of Bender. Then the whale coughs up Leela's suit afterwards. I also liked the Bloodhound gang reference from Nixon's head in a jar."The loot the loot the loot is on fire" Class.

I think it's a pretty clool ep, not one of the best though. Some of it was kinda meh, and some of it was class. Having so many stories at once kept it interesting, but it's execution wasn't brilliant, but still good Roseanne can piss off though!

Wooo just saw this last night....2 new eps remaining.... I loved it, there was no main plot just like 22 short stories....I realised about halfway through that nothing major was going on and I thought it was cool they did something different for a change.... Heaps of funny stuff that's already been mentioned (as always) the coffee stuff was gold, Zoidberg was hilarious and Bender throwing away the diamond then stealing the cigar.... Amy and Kif, meh not bothered either way, I think the way they made a relationship out of a joke is cool, and to carry it on is pretty cool....

As it has been said, Fry's transcendental coffee experience was amazing. One of my new highlights of the series. And I think Bender's "Alright! Closure." line was pure gold.
