I sat down to rewatch and episode or two tonight, and picked Leela's Homeworld.
To my immense surprise, I realised that the only parts of the episode I had ever seen were the opening title ("When you see the robot, drink!" ) and the last couple of minutes. Either that or I'd forgotten it all.
Either way, having an episode I had never seen before was a great bonus  :)

Holly: Would you mind erasing some of my memory?
Lister: What for?
Holly: Well, if you erase all the Agatha Christie novels from my memory bank, I could read 'em all again tonight.
Lister: How do I do it?
Holly: Just type in "HOLOMEM PASSWORD OVERRIDE DELETE NOVELS CHRISTIE, AGATHA", then press erase.
Lister: I've done it.
Holly: Done what?
Lister: Erased Agatha Christie.
Holly: Who's she then?

What is your point, Arachnid?

"When you see the robot, drink!" - wasn't that title from Love & Rocket?

It was. Nevertheless, Arachnid didn't make a mistake by mentioning that. But don't you dare to ask me why! It is an evil question! :p

None, really. Just that I was particularaly pleased to be able to watch an episode I thought I had already seen and find it new and interesting.
Also that I'd probably submit to having my memory erased so I could watch them all over again  ;)

Would you prefer it if I had ended the post with "Has anyone else done this?"

Ok, but think about it. Imagine everybody would do this, opening an thread and telling everyone how great whatever episode was ... it would lead to chaos here ... or worse.

Fine.
Any moderators reading this like to lock or delete the thread?
I'll just go and celebrate my new episode in silence.

Hey, I sat down to watch "Leela's Homeworld" last night, too!

I also noticed that Amy didn't have many lines, but she (not Lauren Tom) was credited in the Sky EPG.

Oh, this episode was FANTASTIC.  The direction is so amazing and cinematic, with only a few episodeslike The Sting really rivaling it.  Story was great and engrossing despite that we know the outcome ahead of time (starting with the end of act one that is), hilarious moments every step of the way, great use of all the characters, even a slight environmental message....one of the best really.  And the ending...so touching...I can't really imagine most sitcoms doing an ending like that.

Yeah, the ending was great. One of the most appropiate pieces of music I have ever heard during a montage of clips.

Still one of my favorite episodes.

The original review thread in case someone want to read what other thought about this great episode.

If not the best, one of the greatest endings I've ever seen.  I have grown to love Pizzicato 5.
