the atlantian steriotype isn't accurate? are you sure? i've got family there and believe me, their all hicks. i say that with love of course.

VF, how safe is LA to live in? i'm trying to avoid going there at all costs, but most likely my career will send me out there at one point or another.

Hope you can afford to buy a kevlar vest and bullet proof windows for your car. My guess is youll need these things in LA. You might also want some firepower Id say a atuo 40mm grenade launcher mounted on your car should be enough. O I almost forgot (hands Venus a rabbits paw) youll want that for good luck. Also Ive called a cathlic priest to meet you at the airport he will be there to read you your last rights after you are gunned down in a drive by.

hey venus. like i said, we lived there almost 20 years ago (*gasp*) but I've been back a couple times in the past few years. It's probably as safe as any city. Just like how any city has parts that are slummy and parts that are safer.  I think the suburbs can be pretty nice actually and a lot of fancy rich people live in LA so the crime can't be bad everywhere.  One thing I remember about LA was it being pretty diverse, as opposed to the hick VA town I live in now which is like 99% white/redneck.

You might want to ask Jon or FF, or heck, sarge. about the LA area, since they've all lived there much more recently.

well, 1000 years from now LA will be one huge pollution cloud where children run free toting guns and have life or death skateboard races. good times to come, good times to come.....

Getak: I skateboard but I'm not from LA!

As I said before, it's overrated.  Overcrowded.  I mean, everyone wants to live there.  I've been there once or twice, and I plan to have a entertainment career, but I really love the Bronx.  The Bronx is busy, but it's more laid back.  It's also beautiful.  I loved that the Futurama writers did that!  At least there's someone out there who'd like to see it destroyed!

Gotta say that the bronx appeals to me more than LA. always wanted to go there. wouldn't mind seeing atlanta either though.

I find it offensive Norway is mentioned 3 times, and Denmark not a single time.
