I'm actually going to be optimistic with this one and say that they'll air all 8 episodes in a row, or almost in a row. They want to get rid of the show and forget about it for good, after all.

Didn't somebody say Futurama will almost certainly be pre-empted at least two nights in the next two months, because FOX is showing a movie (and thus pre-empting everything else)?

I'll be optimistic and say they get them out the door fairly quickly, as there isn't much other "new" material for them to show.

FOX might start the movie at 8:00, leaving the 7:00 and 7:30 timeslots in tact.

That was me.  I understand that Fox is planning to show movies at 7:00 on the last Sunday in June and the first Sunday in July.  I doubt they'll reschedule Futurama for those weeks.

But if they were actually going to go in order, wouldn't "S05E12: Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV" have to be their next show?

The remaining seven would then go 'in order', but the production order has this episode listed before "Jurassic Bark".

dont rush the episodes. when the last episod is aired, thats it. after that we wont have any episodes to look forward to.

Their is no reason for fox to stretch out the remaining eps. But it looks like their will be 3 in a row for the next 3 weeks, which is great! After that theirs only 5 more left, which if preempted 2 times, would take less than 2 months to show the last ep. I am just worried that if they get horrible rating, that fox will just say screw it and never show the remaining eps. We would have to wait for the DVD release, which at this rate, will be many years to come.

After "Three Hundred Big Boys" we're slated for three Bender episodes in a row - I'm sure some are thrilled and other are not. I'm not, really, as Bender episodes seem more shallow to me -- Don't get me wrong, I love them anyway and I look forward to them, but I much prefer Fry-centered episodes, and to a lesser degree, Leela eps. Let's hope that, like "Godfellas", these are kickass shows, unlike "Bendless Love".

I'll allow my suspecision to be replaced by catious optimism. I reckon FOX will want to get the eps aired fast, then they can release the season 4 DVD before Christmas. So hopefully all 8 within the next 3-4 months.
