Hello. I just noticed something. It says in the summary of 'The Sting,' that Fry is going to be eaten by a bee. But yet, if you look at the summaries of 'Spanish Fry,' and 'The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings,' according to CGEF, Fry is still alive because both of the episode summaries of those episodes include Fry in them.

*Eaten* by a bee? Somehow I doubt that. And yes, he will be alive in later episodes. That would lead us to believe that he "dies" in The Sting, but is brought back at the end of the episode.

Hey, let's just wait for the ep...
Obviously, there's something odd with the fact that Fry dies and with seven other eps left...hmm...

Um, ok, I find it really stupid that anyone was confused by this or found it neccessary to debate about it. It's futurama and it's sci-fi (plus, didn't it occur to you that it might merely swallow him?) it doesn't at all imply that he's going to die permanently (and you should have realized that never happens) and I honestly wouldn't have thought that at ALL.

Anyway, we aren't going to be seeing the sting. I don't know about elsewhere, but it's NASCAR here. I'm pissed.

He could be eaten. After all, that's how the original Space Crew was killed.

hmmm....... just a thought..... isnt there a NON sci-fi show that has one single character die in every episode??....... was it south park!?!.....
somehow i doubt that we even need to say, " Oh My God, They Killed Kenny!....YOU BASTARDS!"

perhaps a sci-fi show cant create an odd and strange occurance to bring some one back to life..... just a thought.....oh, and i get eaten by bees all the time.... i eat them also "Yummy"

im assuming a space bee is a lot bigger then an earth bee. And if the last crew was eaten by space bees then the stinger on one of those things is got to be huge.

when your a bee phobic (like i am) there is no difference. Wings, stinger, thats all thats important.

pesonally i don't wanna hear too much 'bout the episode before i see it. that will spoil it. Anyhue, i don't mind bees; its fire ants that i don't like. i had a little incident when i was younger.

you think fire ants are bad, try finding a cow ant in your apt. They're almost an inch long. thankfully i've never seen more then 1 at a time, although the last one that got in had wings and it got away from me before i could kill it. I have reason to believe my tabby got ahold of it, she had what looked like a large raised bitemark on her chin. She's fine though.

i can't find one. basicly they look just like red ants only they are around this long -----  i don't think that's really an inch but hey, close enough ive never exactly taken a ruler to one of these guys and i don't happen to have one crawling around at the moment.

edit: im not actually sure if they are called cow ants, thats just the response everybody ive asked has given me. they may go by another name.

i said ALMOST an inch, besides florida roaches are over an inch, i'm used to obscenely large roaches with wings that dive bomb you when they get angry. but large ants are beyond my realm of experiance. Their just not NATURAL.

IMHO it doesn't make sense to talk about an episode that hasn't aired yet, so be surprised when it gets out of hand fast, because nobody knows what they should talk about.

I just hope this episode will go deeper into Leela's relationship with Fry and see how she feels after he dies. Then, see hiw she feels when he comes beck to life.

The plot line, from what I've gathered (not just from here), reminds me a lot of a certain episode of Star Trek TOS, where everyone is convinced Kirk is dead after an acounter with aliens in space, but Uhura, as well as others, are convinced he's still alive and keep halucinate seeing him. And of course, in the end, he is!
Of course.

A rare case of someone in SciFi coming back from still being alive.  wink
