-Yes, Season 5 is on Sky One. Has been consistently for the past 9 weeks or so (excluding the Simpsons 300th celebrations).

-The reason Sky have swapped back into repeats is because although they apparently have the rights to show the last 8 episodes, they have apparently decided not to (to keep on good relations with FOX, presumably, who haven't shown the episodes yet).

Sorry Grim

I'll have a look at the search next time....the reason ive start so many threads is partly cause im new....and partly cause nearlly all the stuff regarding channels, times etc. is american. Im British so dont have FOX, ive got Sky and therefore Futurama is on Sky One....or Channel 4 on terestrial.

You're right, I thought the same! lol
Cool name by the way.

So the British public are now on Season 5?? why are we never told these things? And if we're on season 5, how come we've only just got Season 3 on DVD this Monday! (02/06/2003)? Freaky Marketers.

*sighs*

First of all, only 4 seasons were produced, 3 of which have been released on DVD.

However FOX have showed the episodes in completely the wrong order, and have split them into 5 airing seasons (McSeasons).

Sky have been showing McSeason 5 episodes since March, but Channel 4 still haven't finished McSeason 3.

Welcome to PEEL guyver!  :)

^Second.  :)

We're actually furthest ahead in terms of DVD box sets. Australia have only just had S2 released, and the US have only just had S1 released.

Just thought I'd point out, at the moment, Sky are taking a break from showing "new" Futurama. Presumably they're waiting for FOX to show a few new episodes before starting up again, to avoid being caught in the same trap.
