meh its not rude... some people welcomed me to PEEL this way and its ok

Fair enough, I find that referring to PEELers (especially newbies) by their ranks doesn't carry an awful lot of respect with it - and, admittedly (for my sins), it's the only thing that winds me up.  Which is why we have user/nick names.  I'd much prefer to be referred to by my "name" than my rank.  See below:

I think I'll move this to off-topic, although AIM names are in people's profiles and ICQ numbers under their avatars people can post other IM names such as MSN or Yahoo here if they wish.
