Alright I've been a bit slow on the "Random Order Thread" so I'm in the progress of catching up

I find myself agreeing with this person from 10 years ago.
It had a nice beginning, but after that it dragged.

I agree about the Robot Mafia, they didn't add anything to the episode.
The best part was Zoidberg's slinky   :)

So the 1st act was the best. What made it good was  the really funny launch sequence and The Professor saying that Bender was making all the straight people bent. It was great seeing Flexo again I just really like his voice actor I hope we see more of him in future episodes.

The 2nd act was kinda lame I mean we've had the "impersonation plot and trying to ruin the other twins/persons life" a thousand times before this is nothing new apart from a slight sci-fi twist.

The Robot Mafia was just boring and they didn't add much element to the episode at all other than getting Flexo squashed in the "Which one do I kill" type gag.

And there's two plot holes.

How did the Mafia know where Bender would be going and how did they get there first?

And how did Angelyne get there after Bender drove off without her?
Both may have reasonable exploitation's but I'm probably to stupid to figure them out.
At the end I didn't give a crap about Bender losing he as he was being more of a jerk than usual.

The Professor being bent felt a bit short.
Why would the crew want the Professor to be straight (lol) when he was so happy bent. I mean he usually sends them on life threatening missions but now he's so distracted so why would Fry and Leela give a shit!?

This is one of the worst Bender centered episodes I have seen and I give it a 7/10

Edit: Wow I did not intend to write that much

This episode is brilliant. The voice acting in this episode is probably tied with "The Sting" as the best in the series.

I loved the Professor's subplot, and Flexo is such a great character. That said, I still prefer his debut episode.

I think the reason people can be critical of this episode is because it's on the same disc as classics like PL, TLOTF, and AWITM. Anyway, this is an 8.5/10.
EDIT: And back to the voice acting, I just love the way Bender delivers one of the last lines in the episode:

Bender: Me too... *sniff* jerk.

I love how the title has Spoiler for Europeans still in it. As in, nearly ten years later you guys still haven't gotten it yet :laff:

I think maybe someone like a mod should take out "Spoiler for Europeans" ;)...

I love the music that plays when Bender and Angeline bend the girder together...

I liked the subplot with the Professor, and Leela's final line is especially hilarious in a very dark way. The rest of it is okay. Bender being incredibly oblivious is funny. The Robot Mafia is dumb and I've never been much of a fan, but they were okay here. Not great, but okay. Overall I think "not great but okay" sums this one up. I'll give it a 7.

I loved the role of Clamps in this episode. Also the hilarious moments where Bender pretended to be Flexo. :D

Random trivia I found at http://jeff560.tripod.com/words2.html:

7/10

It's by no means a bad episode. But the Bender Falling In Love plot felt pretty stale. I like the subplot with the bent professor though :laff:. All in all, it was pretty good.
