Apologies if this has already been mentioned elsewhere, but according to the Futurama preview in Sky Magazine, "Bend Her" is one of the episodes scheduled for this season, which implies that it'll form part of FOX's Season 5.

I don't think it's going to been shown this month on Sky. Maybe on Fox.

Stranger things have happened....

For example, Sky's airing order of "The Simpsons" is totally different to that of FOX's. "Enterprise" also has a mixed up schedule (and for a few weeks, Sky were airing TWO new episodes a week for some reason).

They'll probably follow FOX's schedule for Futurama, though.

Nobody said it would be on Sky this month. There are *scoffs* "too many" episodes for once a week airing to reach Bend-Her this month.

PCC Fred is right, it implies that it'll be part of Fox's 'Season 5'. Sky probably won't show it this month because they've already got over a months worth of episiodes that've aired in the US already, plus a very much doubt Sky are able to show eps before Fox. But it certainly implies that it'll be part of Fox's 'Season 5'. And reading into it a bit further, the production code is after 'The Why of Fry', and although they show them out of order, we can only hope  ;)

No one knows if there will be a "Season 6" but apparently FOX would pretty much have to show a new ep every week for them to finish the batch of eps before the end of season date.

Well since we aren't going to see a one or two episode season... I'd expect a LOT more pre-emptions.

Well, it looks like Fox's 'so called' Season 5 ends with only 8 episodes, the last being 'The Why of Fry'. I wonder how Sky are going to get out of this one. They better not go all silent and pretend they never advertised it in the first place. People have to pay for Sky, and that's false advertising.

Wait, wait, wait. What about Futurama in summer? Does that actually count as a season or...what? I really don't think so. I mean, South Park's seasons last an entire year (through 3 different runs throughout the year), can't we call it the same for Futurama?

Hmmmm... yeah I guess so, but that would mean that Fox would actually have to stick to their word and air them during summer, and how often do they stick to their word? And even if they did, it's taken half a year to air 8 episodes, and there's 8 left, which means at that rate it could be winter before we get to see it, and I wouldn't really call that the same season. Especially as Sky will have aired all the fisrt 8 eps week after week (with the exception of Why of Fry) but I doubt they'll take that long over airing that either. And then the pattern will totally go out of flow with one episode a month, if that...

I wonder if the folks at Sky ever get annoyed by FOX, as they have to muck around with their own schedule to accomodate their incompetance. They've been pretty good this season with Futurama (aside from the Why of Fry pre-emption, but that's fairly forgivable), but what would really push them past the post would be to show the final episodes before FOX  :D. Not very likely though  :(.
