my turn to start the thread. what have we got on top for this week? it's

"Bender Gets Made"
"Mothers' Day"
"My Problem With Popplers"
"Anthology of Interest I"
"War is the H-Word"

Season 2 is coming to a close on CN.

BTW, I also recommend checking out "The Venture Bros." cartoon pilot after Futurama tonight. For fans of The Tick it was made by Tick writer Chris McCullough.

"Bender Gets Made"

Above average, but nothing I would call stellar. I like the opening scenes with Elzar, and the Zoidberg related jokes at the hospital. And the robot mafia was quite nice. If you like Bender you'll love this episode, but the other characters are left with one-liners and sight-gags. Even Fry and Leela are relagated to supporting the Bender story, and deliver a few jokes here and there. I'm not thrilled by that. It's an okay episode, and I would rate it as the best of the 3 Benderific episodes of season 2.

"My Problem With Popplers" is one of my favorite eps of all time.  All of Zapp's lines are hilarious, and Lrrr getting sick off the hippie is great.  Overall just a very funny episode.

I never saw "War is the H-word" on FOX so this was new to me!
Hillarious I must say too.
A+

I'm mad I missed the rest of the week's shows though.  It had some of Futurama's greatest.  Problem with Popplers, Mother's Day, Bender Gets Made (I did catch this, hillarious too!).

Mother's Day has to be one of my most favorite episodes, mainly because all of the characters really get to be on screen at the same time, and all play some part in the plot for the most part. Besides, it has my favorite Futurama quote in it, too. "Show us is the wheel!" I can't wait until next week, when the Amazon women planet episode comes on...already have my VCR set up....
