I need to gather a hand full of very neat comments that don't involve the words "fuck you" or have stuff like "fox must die"...

I need sane letters, tell fox why you love futurama, why you think it should be renewed...and stuff like that,...  don't make the letters too large, but not too small either.  and please, don't cuss out fox or say 'you suck', and spell check your work.  Also, be sure to give your full name and what country / state youre in.

Also, if you manage to find any good comments online somewhere, paste it, but make sure it has a full name or something...comments can be posted in this thread or emailed to me at jon@gotfuturama.com

I need this sorta ASAP, cause I need to print the comments out and deliver it to fox this month...hopefully this week.

here's an example of what I'm looking for in comments...

"Please give Futurama your consideration when deciding upon which shows will remain on the air! It is my favorite guilty pleasure! Best regards." -- Lisa K. Wiggs

"One of the best shows on TV. I cannot express how angryly I've been waiting all afternoon on Sunday to watch it, and then to see it pre-empted by sports post-game shows." -- Randy Varnell

"Just rediscovered Futurama recently on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim after never catching it on Fox - I'm now a fan!" -- John LeMay

"I'm not sexually attracted to anyone who works for FOX and if Futurama goes, I fear that i never will be." -- Steven Paul Myers

"Futurama is a great show. Ironically, I only recently really got into the program now that it's on Adult Swim, but it would be great if new episodes were made." - Simone

Nothing starts a thread off right quite like a double post.

"I love how Futurama gets fantastic ratings now that it's on regularly and advertised."

"Although Futurama is broadcast sporadically over here, I still tune in every single time it's on. Cancelling this show would be a HUGE mistake, perhaps you should go right back to scratch and examine the reasons that it has not got the ratings you wanted?"  -  Gavin Young, Scotland

Ever since the first time i saw it on Channel 4 in the UK i was hooked. I thought this was a great, witty and original show. Unfortunately Channel 4 don't air it too often, but when i discovered the massive online Futurama community it rekindled my joy of the show.
As soon as i heard of the DVD Box sets i pre-ordered them ASAP and now i eagerly await the next season.

Please, give the show it's deserved time-slot and it will flourish. How is anyone meant to know this show exists when you air a 'Season 5' with 2 week gaps between episodes and a whole month break?

I really like watching Futurama but I wish Fox could put it on at later hour like at 9:00PM Sundays. It's really more appropriate to show it
at a later time.

I've been hooked to Futurama nearly since I first watched it when it premiered on Sky One. At first I thought it might have been a half-hearted spin off from my old favourite The Simpsons, but I was proved wrong almost immediately. It really is a fantastic show, in fact, since that premier, my liking of the show has even eclipsed my liking of The Simpsons. The great and original story lines, the fantastic characters, the great jokes, both large and small, all make an exceptional show. I have got to know great people ranging across Britain, and further afar to places across Europe and beyond, all out of shared interests in Futurama, it really has reached many people across the world. Easily deserving of the Emmy it received, I think given perhaps a later or more regular timeslot in America, it will, in my mind, be a sure fire audience pleaser, it having already drawn huge audiences when being repeated on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim recently of course. Spend money on it to make money from it, I say!
Yours faithfully

Admittedly, I've only got into Futurama relatively recently (December 2001), but it has already shot to number one on my list of favourite shows, and I watch every episode that airs here in the UK, and eagerly await the DVD season sets. Proof that even at a later stage of the game, Futurama has the ability to pull in new fans. Surely a program which receives such high critical praise as Emmy awards deserves a chance to thrive? Futurama is witty, sophisticated and intelligent, much like another of your fine shows, which allowed you to turn the "Big Three" of American networks into the "Big Four". Cancelling Futurama now would be to turn on what propelled you to the top of your business.

Okay, here it goes: (if there are mistakes, please correct me)
--------------------------
Good morning, I’m writing this letter filled with sorrow, but, also, filled with hope.
I want to tell you about what Futurama became for me.
First of all, years ago, I was a fan of Simpsons, I watched all the episodes of 11 seasons. Day by day, it was becoming more and more uninteresting. In the end, I understood that the point of that show was completely lost by now, I was disappointed.
And after that, Futurama happened to be a spot of light in the dark, for me. It’s allegorical, but saying honestly, Futurama became more than ordinary TV show for me. No sir. Not an ordinary show. With completely new and colorful set of main characters and second line characters. With its brand humor, with hidden jokes that can be understood only by people with specialized education. With good plot and remarkable storyline which covers all the episodes. With all this, it became a part of my life. I fell in love with that show, and I’m not afraid to say this. I fell in love with it, and it has become a valuable part of me.
After all this I’m very distressed by getting the information that there will be no more episodes after season five. Since there are no episodes being produced this year, there will be no episodes to show the next one.
I do consider Futurama is the best sci-fi cartoon, among all that this world ever saw. And that would be a terrible, terrible mistake to cancel it.
Nothing is as unclear and unjustified as canceling the show, which has such an amount of fans all other the world. By the names of all them, I ask you to reconsider and begin to produce new episodes of Futurama.

Andrei Alekseevich Shavelev, Russian Federation, city of Barnaul.

Futurama. It makes people laugh. Who cares if it does not rate as high with your other shows. If you can make just one person laugh with each episode then it's all worth it. But the truth is your not just making one person laugh you are making millions of people world wide laugh. Please don't take away Futrama, it is a fresh show with lots of laughter left in it. If you have a real need to cancell something then cancell The Simpsons, it's has a good run but the stories are getting old and repedive. All my friends agree that Futurama is the best show on TV. Please, please don't take Futurama away from us!

Only once in a while does a show come along that doesn't insult it's audiences intelligence with the use of low-brow (or Lo-Brau, if you will) humour, smutty gimmicks and innuendo.  The current trend of TV companies to pander to the lowest common denominator with so-called "Reality TV" is the biggest insult so far, and is killing quality shows like Futurama.  Do what's best for the intelligent TV viewing public and give Futurama it's rightful home and keep it on the air.

Many thanks,
Wayne L. Miller - UK.

I've sent the e-mail to PCC Text.  There's about a thousand reasons why it might be deemed unsuitable, but as I see it we've got nothing to lose, and if it DOES get used, not only will it spread the word on the Internet a bit further, but it'll also get some TV airtime.

Now I guess I'd better work on my own message.
