I think it was luck of the draw the way FOXecutives decided to air new Futurama.

"My idea: how about we place some new Futurama instead of Funniest Police Chases. Wait, I'm...demoted? I see. Well, I guess I'll just go mail off these pics of you strangling prostitutes...Ok, you'll air Futurama now. Great!"

Uh-oh - according to alt.tv.futurama, the March 9th episode has been altered to a "Simpsons" repeat. "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles" has been pushed back to March 16th.

after watching FTV's encode of tonight's episode, im kinda disappointed they stuck in the regular themesong instead of the remixed one at comic con i saw. also there's footage/music in the credits FOX will probably block.

Curse Fox! I REALLY wanted to hear that remixed tune, but thanx to Fox my ears my never experience it

Now my Michigan Fox affiliate is showing the news instead of a rerun of KOTH. I hope they show futurama tonight.

Wow, Futurama MM ratings may have changed it.  It did get about the same a KoTH when it was in Futurama's timeslot during sweeps.  Well at least Fox cares in airing Futurama at all and at least trying to finish up the season of Futurama, than flat out canceling it.

When Fry and the Planet Express gang realize that at 161 years old, the Professor has become too crotchety to handle, they decide he needs to be "youth-a-sized". Traveling to an asteroid, they register the Professor at a posh resort where their full-body bath in searing hot tar is guaranteed to turn back the clock. Through a series of unfortunate accidents, the bath covers not only the Professor but also everyone else and all are affected by the treatment. Back at Planet Express, a now 53-year-old Professor tries to keep a now 13-year-old Fry and other kids under control while looking for a way to reverse the effects of the tar treatment. Meanwhile, "the kids" all react to their newfound youth, including Leela, who decides she could have a taste of the childhood she never had as an orphan.

I've always really liked the sound of this episode, it sounds like it could be one of the best ever, and now it sounds even better!

*If* it does air tomorrow, then the chances are it would have already pre-aired today. I know we're not meant to talk about things like that on here, but this has nothing to do with downloads. I'm sure someone will know if it has pre-aired or not, and they'll be able to confirm it either way?

No Futurama Sunday, March 9th.  Simpsons rerun instead.  I don't like this.  Teenage Muntant Leela's Hurdles has been "rescheduled" for March 16th.  I'm beginning to think FOX has decided to extend Futurama's remaining episodes over another season.  And at a rate of around 1 per month, they have plenty left.
