Ok, Last nIght I was bored and I was thuming through the tv guide to see what was on, when i saw an ad for a movie on late at night called Amazon Women on the moon sound familiar? The title of tonites (U.S) ep. (amazon women in the mood) is a play on it! The  movie is a comedy and was made in '87.

Some of you might have already known this, but I didn't and for reedy and anyone else who does freeze frame files: I FOUND IT FIRST DAMMIT!! CREDIT ME!!

Hehe. I also found a title, a couple of weeks ago: How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Sounds familiar? How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back is a play on it. I'm sure a lot of people know about both Amazon Women in the Moon and of How Stella Gor Her Groove Back... but since the source of references called Futurama Chronicles is not updating lately, we poor people that don't know are left alone to find 'em   :)

"Amazon Women on the moon" is one of my favourite trash movies. It makes fun of those sixties monster-movies like Godzilla. It's mainly about a TV-station woh tries to air the move "Amazon Women on the moon" but due to technical problems and because of commercials they don't get it done.
Instead they show an so called investigative magazine called "Bullshit" and stuff. It's really funny!

Space Pilot 3000 isn't a play on anything as is The series has landed. Although Space Pilot 3000 deliberately mixes in the word 'pilot' because it's the pilot episode(obviously) and of course Anthology of Interest isn't a play on anything just a weird way of calling "interesting tales"

Space Pilot 3000 could be a reference to the '82 Konami-game SpacePilot.
