Considering that Fox had a string of flops that resulted in their animted feature film department getting shut down, I doubt that we'll be seeing a Simpsons, or even a Futurama film for a long time, if at all.

There was rumors about a Simpsons movie a few years ago but as you can see that never happened. Also it's hard to run a Simpsons/Futurama story for more than a hour...the stories seem to fit nicely into a 30 min time slot so I see no real need for a movie!

Füx did the same thing to Greg the Bunny, bounced it around the schedule, an indefinite delay, not showing scheduled episodes. And at the end with only two episodes left to air, they trashed the entire series.
