Good news everyone, we get a new epsisode on the 22nd  :D which means we'll have at least double the new episodes this year than what were shown at the beginning of Season 4 last year.

I must admit 'A Taste of Freedom' isn't one I've particularly been looking foward to, but it's nice to have another new ep in time for Christmas. Sarge said it wasn't especially interesting, but he posted some really cool drwaings from it a while ago. Could be good, but probably average, unless it had Harold Zoid in it.

Any new Futurama will be good Futurama in my book. I agree with Otis, though, that "A Taste of Freedom" sounds kind of weak, but I think we'll just have to wait and see. Thankfully, we won't have to wait very long.

Unless we have football on the 22nd, which is going to suck.

Since I haven't seen a new one yet (and I don't think I will before the end of the NFL season), I'm going to pop when I finally get to see an episode.  Good or bad, I'll take it.

It's good news, it'll give FOX nearly 20 weeks to show the remaining 12 episodes, and the NFL season only has two months left to run.

I'm looking forward to it.  I hope either Zapp or Nixon have some roles considering the episodes involved hostile aliens (hopefully Zapp).  Also Decapodians probably have a new leader considering the old one died mating.  I hope Tvguide.com updates their site soon so I can be sure its not preempted by some lameass football.

"Taste" is the one that's supposed to have the hot tub scene, isn't it?

What "hot tub scene"? Does that mean we get to see another pointless, yet entertaining moment of nudity?    :evillaugh:

The outdoor jaccuzi scenes are in it.
When I said the ep wasn't 'especially interesting', I didn't mean it was a bad show. I think there are eps with stronger plots, that's all.
It's a good Zoidy show.

I am really looking forward to this episode to see old Zoidy in action once again and to see the invasion! Not only that but for the spoilers listed above!  :)

No, seriously. If you hadn't guessed, I'm a big fan of the Free Waterfalls (I do like the youngest, to be honest), and I'll be happy to see more of their clan on the show.

Whoo! Phil Hendrie's in "Taste!" I love his radio show.

A clip from Phil's Art Bell parody this week.

I was going thru some "back-logged" FUTURAMA, transfering it to permanent tapes, editing out the commercials as I go (catching up on last season)... Man, do you come across a BUNCH of ads for crappy FOX sitcoms that never made it past the first 7 or 8 episodes...  Andy Richter, That 80's Show, Greg The Bunny... and all these were given primo slots...  FUTURAMA comes in second, only behind perenial stalwart 60 Minutes, and FOX still doesn't get it...  no advertising, no regular air-slot, no support, and still it finishes second...  wonder what it would do back in its 8:30 slot???

Andy Richter was funny on Conan O'Brien. On his own, I'm a little less sure of his funniness. I haven't bothered to watch his show, because it doesn't look all that great. It looks like it's just basically the same sitcom as everyother.  But, I still think he's pretty funny.

Dude, Andy Richter's show is the funniest show ever to be likely cancelled in the next 2 months.

It takes the traditional sitcom and turns it on its ear. I know people have said that about shows like Malcolm and Bernie Mac, but this time, it's true.

Andy Richter's show is as funny as Andy Richter. Thus, it's perfect.

The best scene was from this week's episode where he believed a guy running off with a sandwich cart was.. "HIIIIIIIIIIIIIITLEEEEEEEEEEEE ER!!!!!"

Zoidberg's got an aunt?!

This episode sounds better every time I hear something new about it -- and I was pretty interested in it in the first place!

New Characters:
Old Man Waterfall
Zoidberg's Aunt

Woo Hoo!
