Grab your Kleenexes for this one: Here in Norway, TV2 have decided to show one HALF of a Futurama episode every day! What can they be thinking, it's a 21-minute program!! So every weekday from 16:45 to 16:55, they show about ten minutes of Futurama. Un-credible.

And that's why TV2 deserves a swift kick in the groin-region! *shakes fist*

Poor Norwegian people. I feel for you.  And you can't even drink the pain away, cause alcohol is so damn expensive.  :(

So whats the deal, half today, half tomorrow? Or half of one episode, half from another completely different episode?

Hey, why not show half of Futurama, then half of Family guy! It makes perfect sense!

That is really f***ed up if they don't conclude the episode the next day. What are they trying to do, leave the episode open for discussion?

That's just stupid, I bet The Simpsons never would get this kind of shabby treatment. On the plus side, maybe that mean I can catch a few episodes during my ski-trip to Norway in week 5.

At least the Norwegian viewers get to see Futurama. The Danish station TV2Zulu a few weeks ago told me that they wont be airing the 3rd and 4th seasons until some time next spring. However Ï don't think they ever intend to air them, since it's the second time they push the new seasons 6 months into the future.

I dunno...maybe showing half of the episode is a good thing. After all, it could be Matt Greoning's idea to have a 'You Are the Writer' type contest. After the 10 min. are up, some randomly drawn lucky Futurama fan gets to conclude the episode the way they want it to end. It's fan interactive Futurama!   :)

Let's see, TV2 slices Futurama in half. FOX pre-empts it and Channel 4 edit it to pieces.

However, on TV2's website, Futurama has made it into their program FAQ. They comfort viewers by stating they will air all episodes in full starting on December 2, at six PM. (which will make it compete directly against Norwegian public TV "NRK1" 's popular Children's Christmas calendar special). But I don't know about the truth to this, since their FAQ used to say that Futurama season 4 would air this fall. And three years ago, they said they were going to show Star Trek Voyager and I'm still waiting. Worst. Network. Ever.

Wow, it's like your own little "now joining the regularly scheduled show in progress" each time you watch Futurama.  That has to be the stupidest schedule ever.  Look at it this way Ricky, if you do come over to the states to study at a school in the eastern time zone, you'll already know what to expect from the 7:00 pm timeslot.

I'm sure it's as elusive as your sense of grammar.

I'm sure all stations that has bought the rights to air Futurama episodes are also obliged to screw it beyond recognition. Guess what's airing here sunday nights instead of Futurama this winter. Yep, that's right; NFL.

UPDATE:
"TV2 comfort viewers by stating that they will air all episodes in full starting on December 2, at six PM"

TV guides for the coming week are out, and apparently they've ditched Futurama in favor of Family Guy reruns. A friend and I have planned to visit TV2 headquarters tomorrow demanding an explanation for this insolent behaviour of theirs.

I beg to differ; someone actually did just that at the Norwegian Senate's building last year. And it took the investigators days to find out who did it (conclusion, some student delivered it by "mistake" )
