"A law must be passed that forbids Fox from handling science fiction series. Lobby your congressmen. Write your senators. This whole Iraq business must take second chair to the far more pressing problem of Fox's inability to broadcast, handle or support SF."

Good for him. Basically FOX should stop showing series of any kind and stick to what it does best (widest possible sence of the word) Sport and Reality TV. Sod it.

Now if I only knew who Peter David was...  :hmpf:

someone PLEASE, just state the obvious?

In FOX's defense (gasp!), they are the only major network to take a stab at showing prime-time SF in the past 10, 15 yrs. So, we still have a problem. Either we don't have SF on prime-time TV, or we put it in the hands of those who hate it. Personally, I'm glad that at least there have been some SF on TV before it was cancelled.

Quick Tangent...can we start a list of all  FOX SFs that have been cancelled, in, say, the past 10 yrs?

1) Futurama!
2) Millenium
3) Harsh Realm

.....

Peter David is a Writer of Stuff. He's written for TV (at least a ccouple of B5 eps), novels (both TV and movie tie-ins and originals), and comic books (his current series iclude "Supergirl", "Captain Marvel", "Young Justice", and "Solserchers & Co."). He's also a hell of a funny goy.

10) The Visitor (John Corbett)

This is going to be one very long list.  I'm trying *not* to think of more.

Same with other channels I mena there was no Farscape tonight because of Snooker. I can not think of a duller sport to watch oh wait Bowls.

All I remember about it is that it involved a hot chick, virtual reality, and Anthony Head.

Notice how many of these shows were on at 8 pm on Fridays, as the lead-in to "The X-Files". That was a cursed spot, let me tell ya.
