Cinescape's Hot List

Okay, I haven't vistied in a while  so I don't know if anyone has posted anything about Cinescape's hot list. From a quick look around I haven't seen anything. I got October's issue of Cinescape today and they've got a "Hot List" Which includes things like Hot Heriones, Villians, Cars, Ship, Sex, Zone, Time, Event, Creator and Return. Futurama is under one of them, personally I'd like it to be under "Hot Ship" but it's not. Futurama is on the Hot List under Hot Sex. It's a half a page article on the upcoming season. Appearenty "after years of being neglected by Fox, creator Matt Groening and executive producer David X. Cohen decided to go out with a loud, moaning bang." Because "we're trying our best to be unsuitable for 7 pm this season - we have nothing else to lose" That is just one little part of the article (which includes pictures) After reading the article this season sounds a lot more interesting than it did yesterday.

Haven't heard anything about this, yet, but I'm sure we all will soon enough. I do know that Cinescape has been notoriously kind to Futurama in the past, printing cover articles and the like, so this doesn't surprise me. Granted, it's still good news, but not shocking news.

Why is it that, if you search for video cartoon files on a file sharing service, the last few entries are *always* some sort of porn! We don't need this!

There may be some porn, Matt & David said in the article the was going to be a lot of nudity.

The article shows 2 pictures. The first one is of the PE TV with 2 Neptunians going at it (seems like basic soap opera way) and the other is of Calculon and Coilette.

scan as >  try using jpg.  once saved, if you cant open it, download irfranview, then open it with that and save as jpg.

Great now Futurama is becoming Melrose Place in Space. 
I can't wait to see how this season is going to play out. If the creators are going that overboard how will Fox react to it? Certainly they want to air their remaining episodes one way or another. By the time we get into the season when Futurama will be shown regularly (my guess around February) it might be just at the right time to come in as a mid-season replacement and be bumped to later in the evening. If KOTH does not perform well after the Simpsons, or if Oliver Beene does not do well (I do not think it will) or even the Grubbs it opens the door to some shuffling around which could benefit Futurama. Of course it probably will not be enough to sway Fox's minds about it but it could give Futurama a chance to go out with a bang and get some well deserved respect.

What I think they're gambling is that by pushing the edges of what’s allowed on TV they might get a whole heap of attention.  South Park taught us that when a show does controversial things, people start watching it.  Any thoughts?

Cinescape's TV Mania has two more articles about Futurama. The first one: The basic preview for the upcoming season and what to expect and the second one is an episode guide for the 4th season, including a grade for each episode. (Two A- and one A)

According to TV Mania Professor Farnsworth and Dr. Zoidberg are voiced by a person named Zapp Brannigan.
