All I see is a girl with people hair and one big eye.

hint1:

...given that I'd altered shape and colours in a few select areas, I should have used less overall distortion...

hint2: There are one or more characters in the image, but none of them are Leela.

Negatory::

- A Farewell to Arms (though I can see what prompted you to guess that)
- Near-Death Wish
- Fry Am the Egg Man
- Neutopia
- The Cyber House Rules
- My Three Suns
- The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings

Nice shot!!!  Have at it :)

I had four more intermediately-distorted images cued up, too :)  I'll try to better balance out the overall distortion and use less trickery in the future.

Sorry, I have a tendency to get over-excited and carried away with things.

I'm only about 35% sure that I can see Amy's cleavage.

Hmmm.  I can see the Professor on the left in the foreground, and what looks like someone opposite him who's appearing on a viewscreen of some sort.  The scene simply isn't triggering any memories...

Good eye! I see it as well now.

I'm trying to identify the colours to deduce who the other person might be. Ans unless its Neutopia (which I doubt, as I'm pretty sure all the characters int hat episode speak at some point), it's probably not the Professor's cleavage.

Reincarnation? I'm thinking of the anime segment.

The dark green looks like the table in the PE conference room.  I can sort of make out the other character which looks extremely pale, maybe with light reddish hair, with their head surrounded by deep blue and a light minty green around that that is reminiscent of the head jars, but I don’t see a base.  The gold colour behind that character is completely throwing me.  And the clue about not speaking has me completely flummoxed.

Is it The Prisoner of Benda?

Head Jar isn't too bad of an idea- there's dozens of heads that never speak.

I'll go for the obvious guess: All the Presidents' heads?
