It's funny. I've heard the Beck episode as called both "Bendin In the Wind", and "The Times They-Are-A-Bendin". I know the first one is right, but I still keep seeing the second (wrong) title all over the place. Any help on where this vicious hoax started?

I guess somehow someone got really stoned and proceeded to mix "Bendin' in the Wind" with "Time Keeps on Slippin'."  That's the only reason I can think of.

Actually I think the original title was The Times They Are-a Bendin'.

According to the Futurama Outlet(back when that site was in business), the writers changed the title to make it sound more hippy-like. I'm assuming another reason is to make sure nobody confused it with the Time Keeps On Slippin' episode.

I'll agree with that, besides "The Times They-Are-A-Bendin" just sounds weird, and the reference is pretty obscure.
