I am from the UK and I would like to know why i am being told the futurama
has been cancelled? there is a huge fan base for it over here and all over the
world if you would like to see just how popular the show is i suggest that
you visit the site http://www.petitiononline.com/futufu/petition.html

It is a petition to stop futurama being cancelled they have over 144,000
signitures at the time of writing and all of them are real non repeated
signitures.  if this is just the people that have found this website then
think how many people must love the show. I personaly feel you would be
crazy to stop showing such a hugely popular show.  please reconsider your
actions as you would be losing many fans.  if you are struggling for new
scripts i suggest you look on fan sites under the fan fiction sections as
some are extremely good and some are very professional. one that has many
fans is on this link http://www.gotfuturama.com/Interactive/FanFiction/1BDI/The_Fugitive.dhtml

i strongly suggest you reconsider your actions if you would like to know
more on your fans feelings i suggest you go to google.com and do a search
for futurama.

yours sincerely
Dominic Ellis (16)

There is another season of unaired episodes, but that is because they got so far behind last season, these "new" episodes are already made. They aren't still making new episodes  frown

Welcome to PEEL though flying_fry  smile

Yeah, that's right, all 16 'new' episodes.

It's dead, Jim.

Those "all new" episodes are episodes leftover from the 3ACV and 4ACV production runs. They should've been aired by now, but thanks to FOX and their priorities (putting Football and reality shows first and quality programming last) they were pre-empted and never broadcast.

FOX still haven't renewed Futurama with a new production season, and probably never will (but we're still hoping).

Welcome to PEEL, flying_fry. Enjoy it here.     big grin

Edit: Oh, hi Tweek and Ben. Didn't see you guys there.

I want to add that this reply is also canned. Many people including I myself got exactly that. Write them back with something like "'All new' meaning the unaired due to sports ones or newly produced this year ones?" and they'll mysteriously go silent...

actually, they didnt go silent when i wrote that -marc. They then wrote back with the argument:

---------------------
Well, have they been aired before? No? Then that must mean they are ALL-NEW

Thanks for writing

well, i wrote back asking about the actual production seasons, and THEN they went quiet...
guess i got one little step further than most apparantly  wink

You know that "clarification on Futurama" headline currently showing on CGEF?  Maybe it should be placed permenantly at the top of the CGEF and PEEL main pages.

Welcome to PEEL flying_fry!

Damn, I knew I shouldn't have done, but I raised my hopes again.
It was a good e-mail you sent though, I guess there's no hope if FOX won't listen to the fans.

A suggestion would be to try a chain letter. Send an email to youyr friends to send to fox, and also there friends. Add nothing about being cursed or crap if they don't send it, but say something like if you like Futurama send this email  smile. Just an idea.

BTW, Static, you got some attitude with that reply. What jerks.

Awww... poor newbies. Like when you go to a music clinic (some famous musician plays their instrument and you ask them questions) and some kid asks "How much does your instrument cost?". Having a sponsorship deal means he doesn't have a clue. See the fear people!

You guys are so cruel. You shouldn't discourage the newbie, just humor him, it's much more entertaining.

I could humor the newbie, but instead, I think I'll humor myself.

False alarm people, nothing to see here.
