This could fall flat on its face so hard.

This is a pointless little experiment cooked up here to see what episodes in Futurama are the least memorable. How this will work is that you can spend around 25 - 30 minutes (we're going for memory, not speed) to type every episode you can remember, without looking online or anywhere else that could aid you. Once you're done, PM the list to me, and after a time when enough people have participated, I'll compare 'em all up and show the results in this thread. There's also the added game of who can name them all and who'll be the absolute worst.

There aren't really any strict rules to this, besides that it goes without saying that this requires no cheating and complete honesty, otherwise the entire thing is pointless. Also, you can look up the episodes after you sent them to me to see which ones you've missed, but don't say in the thread which ones you forgot. Basic stuff, yo.

So yeah. Have fun, I guess.

Sounds extremely fun. I'll get to work on typing straight away!

EDIT: I just did it and I think I got everything. The order wasn't quite perfect, but I did okay.

I'll do it!

Edit: I did and I know that I missed a few since I know the general episode count per season, but whatever.

I sent mine in. I tried to keep it as in-order as possible, but occasionally I'd remember something I forgot up the list earlier and just put it in as it came to me. I think I got all of seasons 1 and 2 (I know I didn't miss one in 1 since that was the first DVD I owned - you come to know those 13 episodes very well when that's the case :p) as I've re-watched them recently, but I know I definitely missed out at least 1 for each subsequent season (DVD movies aside, of course).

I'll be interested to see the results. Thanks again for doing this, Snrub. You're are both unreal and a legend. :)

EDIT: Checked the official episode list now that I've submitted. I missed a few that I really like!

Thanks for the submissions so far bros, pretty broad results at the moment. Hoping to get the number of participants to double figures, but that might be wishful thinking.

This is interesting, I'm not sure how many I actually remember. I'll divide them by seasons, but I'll probably mix some of them.

I missed 33. Luck has quite a lot to do with this, though.

I would try this, but I'm afraid I'm too old and senile to submit a meaningful list. I'd just spend half an hour coughing out about 70 episode names.

But all the cool kids are doing it! You don't necessarily have to stick to the time limit, I just didn't want people spending hours on it. I don't want it so that people can still remember a bunch of episodes but don't add them because they're out of time, though.

I'll give this a try.. but I'm guessing a lot of the episodes will have their titles spelled incorrectly

Well.. I'm going to watch a maraton of the episodes I forgot this weekend..

I only missed, I think, eleven episodes, so I'm feeling pretty secure in my dorkiness right now.

Yeah, I think I also missed about the same.

Given that it's been years since I've watched some of these episodes, I'm pretty happy with that.

I'll set the deadline for the end of tomorrow, that gives anyone who'd want to do it time, without dragging this out any longer than it needs to.

I think I missed around 30.  I know all of the episodes, but it's hard to remember every name sometimes.  plus I only took around 10 minutes.

I think my work on the Futurama cast picture has made me subconsciously sort the episodes by disc, which is why I found this easy.

Sorry this took so long folks, the computer I got this all together on was unexpectedly unusable for a few days. Anyway, here are the full results;

http://imgur.com/a/6N7nX

Summary:
  • Season two has the highest proportion of forgotten episodes, with 25 of a possible 152 missed.
  • Unsurprisingly, not a single person missed one of the movies.
  • UnrealLegend was the only person to correctly remember every episode.
  • Season one also fared well, with only 4 of a possible 104 missed. This is presumably because of the memorable chronological order of the episodes.

And now! The most commonly forgotten episodes!

3rd place; missed by 3 of 8 participants
Raging Bender
A Clone of My Own
The Honking
The Bird-Bot of Ice Catraz
That's Lobstertainment!
Time Keeps on Slippin'
A Pharaoh to Remember
Future Stock
Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV
Mobius Dick
Fry Am the Egg Man
All the President's Heads
The Six Million Dollar Mon
Fun on a Bun
Viva Mars Vegas

2nd Place; missed by 4 of 8 participants
The Inhuman Torch

1st Place; missed by 5 of 8 participants
A Taste of Freedom

Thanks for doing this, Snrub!

Although it'd have been nice to have more participants, the results are pretty interesting. Although, it just occurred to me that I didn't really add much to the data since I remembered it all. :p

Crap. I forgot to do this. I meant to, honestly. But I got a little swamped with lab reports and revision. To be honest, I'm still a little swamped, I'm just procrastinating a little better right now.*

Sorry, Snrub. If it's any consolation, I saw it, thought it was a cool idea, and truly intended to take half an hour or so to sit down and participate. Time makes fools of us all.

Pretty interesting stuff, Snrub! I'm surprised The Inhuman Torch took first place considering how recent the episode was.

Flawed system. Time Keeps on Slippin', Future Stock, Mobius Dick and Fun on a Bun are all very popular episodes.

It's not a flawed system at all. If anything, it's a perfect system.

The problem is that there weren't many people participating, which expectedly made the results a little weird.

Second place, but I agree that it was a surprise. Although my first thought when the episode aired was that it was pretty meh.

What sucks is that there were several episodes that I remembered but whose titles I couldn't remember. :(

Woooo, I was right!

I missed it myself... I guess, seeing as it was kind of smack-bang in the middle of the season, people had less point of reference for remembering it (unlike the season premieres and finales). Also, despite being one of the more highly-regarded episodes of 7B, it was soon quickly overshadowed by Game of Tones, Murder on the Planet Express and Meanwhile.
