So who here went to this? I was there all 4 days and even though there wasn't much in the way of Futurama it was still a good time. The Futurama panel was great and we got to see a forthcoming episode - Less Than Hero. Really funny one and can't wait until it is aired.
I hope to have a full report up on my site by the end of the week. Included in that will be a transcript from the Futurama panel, however that may take a little bit longer as it is pretty hard work.
Anyone else want to share their thoughts on the show?

Gald you rubio!  Hope you took pictures  big grin  Looking forward to reading that transcript too.  Was there an autograph siging like before?  And any free stuff at the bongo booth?  thanks  smile

The signings were pretty minimal and they really did not start until Saturday after the Futurama panel. I did get some pictures that I will be posting as well. They had some artwork from the Simpsons/Futurama comic up and they look great! I can't wait for this comic. No free stuff that I could see at the Bongo booth. It was basically the same bookmark that they gave out last year.
Only one new product at this years show and I am reserving that for all to see when I get my pages up.  smile

BarneyBurnham - that would be illegal!  smile Seriously, I know people recorded it because after it aired Bill Morrison (who was moderating the panel) made an announcement that it was illegal to record the airing and that they find anybody doing it they would take the tape away. At first it sounded like a joke but you could tell he was dead serious.
This episode was an unusually fast episode as there was plenty of stuff put into it. I will try to have more detailed spoilers up by either tonight or tomorrow.

The last time i tried to kill myself was about an hour ago. I jumped off this really tall building. But i ended up doing a triple backflip and landing on my feet. No one saw it of course, except for two little kittens and one kitten turned to the other and said "See? That's how you do that."

OK, here you go. Part 1 of my report on the San Diego Comic Con with spoilers for the episode Less than Hero. Sorry about the poor quality of pictures for the Simpsons/Futurama crossover pages. I had meant to get some better ones but my camera crapped out and I wasn't able to.
As Prof. Farnsworth would say - Enjoy!

Thanks for the report. Looking forward to the rest of it.

It actually was a fun show. The pacing of it was very quick and I cannot begin to tell you all the one liners and zippers that went on between the characters.

She's a great woman. She'd kick your ass any day.   laff
She's the original Leela. She was also used as reference for Laura Powell (Barts' girlfriend neighbor).

I am working on it. It is proving to be much more difficult than I originally planned so I may update with partials until I can get the whole thing together.
Stay tuned.

Slashdot has mentioned Futurama and the Comic con in their 'Slashback' forum.

Nothing particually new that we don't already know but you might want to check it out anyway here

Bendo - who is who in the picture with you, DiMaggio and LaMarche?

Apologies to all who have been waiting with baited breath for me to complete the transcript from the SD Comic Con. I have been extremely busy with other things these last couple of weeks and hope to get back to it real soon. If not it probably won't happen until mid-October. Sorry about this guys but sometimes other stuff just gets in the way that are more important. I will see what I can do to have another segment up by weeks end.
Parmo, from left to right in that picture is me, Maurice LaMarche and John DiMaggio. I figured everybody knew what DiMaggio looked like so figured it would be easy to discern who was LaMarche. Sorry for the wrong assumption. I will correct that.

I didn't even know about this thread until a few minutes ago. It's really cool that you managed to see an unaired episode of Futurama. It sounds really cool, I'm a bit curious about the zoo keeper. By any chance was he anything to do with the zoo that was in 'Love & Rocket'?  smile

I do not believe that so but I will check Love and Rocket tonight to see if I see him there. It would be great if it was. On the other hand, wasn't Love and Rocket a season 4 production run?

Thanx, that's really cool that you're going to check   smile You're right, 'Love & Rocket' is part of the Season 4 production run, but it's an older episode than 'Less Than Hero'. I think they're both pretty much the same age, but 'Love & Rocket' is before 'Less Than Hero' in the production run   smile Even if the zoo keeper isn't in 'Love & Rocket', I was wondering if the same zoo is in 'Less Than Hero'?   smile
