It can be done! Probably more! Let's get started! I'd start, but the #1 reason should be a memorable one so I'll go later.

"Rosebud... Yes, Rosebud frozen peas. Full of country goodness and green pea-ness. ...wait, that's terrible. I quit! ...just a handful for the road. ...oh, what luck. There's a french fry stuck in my beard."
 - Orson Welles, "The Critic"

Alright, all clear:
2. Sci-fi shows kick ass!
3. Animated sci-fi shows kick ass!
4. Robots who drink, smoke and sass back rock!
5. Unlike the Simpsons, which is still a good show, they don't have a guest-star every other episode.
6. When Futurama does have a guest-star, they're almost always the main focus of the episode, unlike the Simpsons for the most part.
7. It's funny as hell.
8. Zoidberg rocks!

No it isn't.  They mentioned soylent green on The Simpsons before there even was Futurama.

51. One of the stars of the show is a cycloptic alien/mutant
52. Said character is also female...
53. And yet she never feels like those token alien babes, she's a well rounded character in her own right.
54. Moving along, great catch phrases.
55. Those small but funny little referance gags they put in.

I could go on, but I think I'd start repeating stuff
