It's approaching at the same rate that it always has been. What's changing is the temporal distance between that point and the present: it is getting smaller.

Your understanding of time is deeply flawed, and you should feel bad.

What's this even meant to mean? Watch Futurama whilst wearing a party hat?

I shall watch it as I normally do: sitting naked or near-naked at my computer, and maybe stroking my genitalia idly. In honour of the occasion of the very last Futurama season opener, I might wear my hat. But it is not a party hat. It is a serious hat, for occasions of great import and gravity.

I'll probably mark that event in the same way. If by "have a party" you mean "make a graph".

The last party I went to was a wake. If history repeats itself, odds are not looking good for a Futurama resurrection because my grandma did not sit up in her coffin and go "Just kidding, y'all!"

Just to make forgetting that little bit harder, every time you read something I've posted on PEEL at night or over the weekend, there's a roughly fifty-fifty chance that I made it whilst naked or near-naked and stroking my genitalia idly.

Enjoy that image. Treasure it and savour it, or I'll find something worse for you.
