I can tell either the episodes aren't linked or they will just preview "Meanwhile" after "Stench and Stenchibility", or somehow, some way, they pull out an ending that is linked to "Meanwhile".

Guys, they're just two separate episodes that CC (originally) planned to air the same night....what about that is so hard to get?
Maybe leave suspense into the next week to rake in more viewers?

Or there is background story in Stench and Stenchibility with Fry and Leela's relationship, ending with a cliffhanger.
We already know that the backstory/B-plot in that episode is about Bender tap-dancing.

Yes, but I meant more like in background of couple of scenes, not as a plot itself. Maybe something related to Zoidberg's relationship and in the end Fry proposes, for example. But it is very unlikely, so it doesn't matter. I never understood where this idea of a two-part finale came from. As far as can remember, it was never even implied, let alone confirmed, by anyone.
I want to say Comedy Central said it, but they phrased it in basically the same way as the announcements of all four double-length premieres they've scheduled, and the double-length finale last year. Obviously they were just going to do the same thing here and it had nothing to do with the episodes being connected in some way.
Now that I searched, I couldn't find, where it was said they would be a two-parter. I just remembered seeing suggestion of that in news, but I guess not. Too bad.

I'm not positive that this was the start of it all, but it seems that there was a livestream which sparked such speculation, as seen by the discussion at the beginning of this news thread; however, in the MuchAdo post noting what was said in the livestream, it is worded, as DotheBartman says, simply as two episodes airing on the finale evening, and not as the finale itself being a 2-parter. It looks like that livestream may have also been the origin of the "Scruffy origin episode" news as well.

Countdown to Futurama: MarianneA few weeks ago, we revealed that the new Futurama season would feature a guest appearance by the Mother of Dragons herself, Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke. Well, today we have your first glimpse of the character she’ll be portraying.
Meet Marianne, who you’ll be able to see more of in the upcoming episode, “Stench and Stenchibility.”

Countdown to Futurama: Zoidberg and Marianne Get Robbed
Here’s another look at Marianne, the character voiced by Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke in the upcoming episode, “Stench and Stenchibility.”
Obviously, if this was Game of Thrones, all three characters pictured would die shocking deaths by the end of the scene, but this is Futurama, so you’ll just have to watch to find out what happens.

Alright, place your bets everyone. Will Roberto be revived in Calculon 2.0, will he come back in another episode, or will they just make him come back with a half assed, 1 sentence explanation as to how he came back here? Hopefully its the first one, with him possibly being part of the plot for it.
I really hope that it's one of the first two, but I have a bad feeling it will be the half-assed explanation. I mean, if they didn't bother to explain how the fuck they pushed Mars back into it's original position, why would they bother explaining a minor character's resurrection?
