I think Bender's Game is pretty good actually and I saw lord of the rings, that I've never wanted to see since I'm a suggestible girl, because I wanted to catch the satire in the secondary plot

Yeah, me to. Bender's game has got a little diversity, I live to see how imagination becomes reality ^^ the story line might have been a bit 'not very good' but I loves the animations and all.
I still want to watch star wars, star trek, and lotr... but first I must find someone to watch it WITH :D

On topic: when you start singing the futurama birthday song and all your friends go like 'dafuq?'

I also like Bender's Game.
As I stated before: Some Futurama plots suffer from trying to give EVERYTHING a new twist.
(E.g. BwaBB. I got where they were trying to go, but the resulte just looked strange to me.
The Roleplay plot in Bender's Game was spot on. About the same way as e.g. "Law and Oracle" stayed close to Minority Report, or "Fry and the Slurm Factory" stayed Close to Charly.

Bender's Game is just all-round not as good as it could have been. Which can also be said for Bender's Big Score, come to think of it. Bender may be the show's breakout character, but somehow everything that rests too heavily on Bender's shoulders seems to end up lacking the pure awesome that characterises episodes where Bender is a supporting character, rather than a central anchor for the plot.

While I agree that Bender-centered episodes tend to be largely hit-or-miss, I don't think that this had that much to do with the success or failure of Bender's Big Score; Bender is in the title and is integral to the plot, yes, but I see it as more of a Fry story.
