Most likely yes, plus it will let them put more time and quality into South Park. :)

Put more time into South Park? I thought the current average of two weeks is overboard.

Well most fans complain that newer episodes seemed rushed and have shitty quality and stuff because they literally make them in 6 or 7 days. They made a Behind the Scenes documentary about it in like 2011 I think...

Yeah, been there, saw that. From my understanding, they don't typically make an episode in one week. But considering the circumstances that the episode was based upon the election that occured a day or two prior to the episode's broadcast, they didn't have a choice in the matter if they wanted to be the first ones to comment on it. They probably planned out most of the episode in advanced and plugged in the lines and characters relating to the winner afterwards.

Hunh... I guess I really didn't watch the documentary.

Almost every episode since season 3 was made in 6 days...

Correct. I'm not sure where this idea comes from that Matt and Trey are on some kind of time crunch that requires them to make the show so quickly. They've got plenty of time; they just work better within the time constraints they've set for themselves, and feel it enlivens the show. If one thinks South Park has gone downhill (I don't), then I can still assure you it's for reasons having nothing to do with the length of production time.

But yeah, Matt and Trey are starting a new studio and want to work on other projects.

Matt and Trey are master procrastors. They have sent episodes out to Comedy Central with half-hour to airtime. They also have families now and probably want to spend more time with them, but I have to wonder if their kamikaze hours put a strain on their personal lives.

I doubt it.  Their significant others probably enjoy the break during the South Park production season.

I will be drunk before 3 posts XD but talking actual news I found this on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3pMWvUIzIo is Eric Rogers in a Futurama Panel I don't know if it's important because I can understand just half of the words he says, but could be so...

Yeah, he also says:

"Thankfully you guys keep us around by buying the DVDs and watching the show, and the toys and all that good stuff, uhm, and there's still plenty of that on the way. That's one of the reasons why I think the show is gonna come back, you know, there's still lots of goodies that are being produced for the show and for the characters as far as like merchandise goes, so I wouldn't imagine they would keep making that stuff if they didn't think there was still a bit of a future ahead of it so, yeah."

He also talks about the footage of his episode (Fry and Leela's Big Fling) that was cut from the video, he mentions that Fry and Leela are looking at an ad for a resort they're staying at that shows them what won't be there, and on the ad there is a picture of Zoidberg haha.

Eric also says to this day he does not understand why everyone hated The Futurama Holiday Spectacular.

He just said that the writers are always pitching new ideas for AOI III but DXC seems to have shied away from them.

And I want to see that unaired material!

They better do better than that! I was thinking two or three, including "Fry and Leela's Big Fling" and "Meanwhile".

I am disappointed that the preview first act of "Fry and Leela's Big Fling" hasn't been posted, but that is sort of expected. No fans who attend those panels want to risk their attendance nor mess around with a camera just to upload a video online that will go underappreciated by viewers. However, seeing how the trailer for season 7b had been posted on Comedy Central's webpage not too long after being shown at a convention, I would not be surprised if the preview for "Fry and Leela's Big Fling" was posted as a kickoff to the countdown (or at least part of the countdown).

I'm super happy to hear Eric Rogers' optimism! Of course, I too was really hoping to see the Fry and Leela's Big Fling preview, but I can wait for something that I think will be great. This has made me feel even more excited for the countdown!

I was always a fan of that episode. I thought that the idea of killing everyone off at the end of each segment was something you might have seen in an early Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode.

What do I know, though? I also thought that the new Three Stooges film was good. It was modern day setting with the classic stooges being true to their characters.

Yo Leela Leela is in my opinion the worst ever episode of Futurama.

I really don't get all that hate for that episode. It wasn't phenomenal, but it wasn't a trainwreck. It's probably the best of the Hollywood-based episodes as it doesn't focus on the actors (and from my observations, those episodes are always consistently poorly-received among fans). It was a treat to see Leela's more maternal side (well, without Nibbler or the creature-of-the-day), though I will admit Leela's later egotistical attitude was both far-field and predictable. I am sure a lot of the hate has come from Fry's comment about Leela becoming a Gaga-esque fame whore and personally I was disappointed that Spongebob Squarebolts wasn't voiced by Tom Kenny himself (most likely for legal reasons). The best part, for me, was the last act with the clever resolution.

Didn't care much at all for YLL, but Katey does have a beautiful singing voice.  Well, a beautiful voice, period.

TFHS, on the other hand, has no redeeming qualities for me.

Well, besides Santa's belt-fed M2 X-Mas light machinegun.

Personally I like Yo Leela Leela a lot, I think because until certain point I can relate Leela because I work with kids and it can be really stressful, also the songs and the show(the one in the episode) are pretty nice.

But yeah the episode ends in a strange way even for Futurama, but well I don't think that is the best episode but isn't the worst thing ever.

About TFHS,I'm amazed where I live was really accepted that episode, I don't hate it but my problem is: I find it boring, are just individual jokes that I can find fun but the segments are bad written, even if the fact of "everyone dies...END!" makes me laugh a bit, I don't feel like  watching it again (that is also my problem with 7A actually and some episodes from 6A, I forgot that these episodes exist).

Yo Leela Leela is a 'meh' episode to me... The whole idea is nice, but all the references make it kind of boring to me. The little jokes however I liked very much ^^ Especially this line:
Amy: "It's hard to go to the bathroom in these suits!" Fry:"I'm not having any problems."
Just the way it was said! Oh, also the jokes on the "young peoples choice awards": Dora the Destroyer and Yo Gimme Gimme!
About TFHS, nice to watch 2 or 3 times but after that... No. I do like bender's singing part however
