According to the TV guide in The Guardian, 'ATOTS' is on at 7pm, Sunday June 29th. "The last chance to catch Futurama tonight (well, an episode you haven't already seen, anyhow), as it's the last in the current series - and possibly the last ever as they don't seem to be making any more," quoth they. Well, *we* know there are more to come, at least, but don't let that stop all of you with Sky from recording it!   :D

It ain't the last ever, there are 16 still unaired in America.  That's what you get for taking TV tips from the Guardian!

(The second half of payndz's message sinks in)

Sorry, I'm half asleep.  Delete this post, or whatever.

i seem to recall from ANSTATMAW that this particular episode was purposefully filtered out of their airing list or something...
perhaps they finally realized that people would watch it or something?
(this WAS the reason you were telling us this, right payndz?)

It's great that we don't have to wait until Christmas to see it. Why they decided to show it at the end of the season instead of after "Roswell That Ends Well" beats me :hmpf: But at least it's finally getting shown, tonight! :D

HA. Sorry for that outburst but evenif and when they do show those series they will be cut to hee.
Best thing you can do is to wait till they bring them out on DVD or VHS.

I guess Sky realised that they couldn't cut a chunk out of a song, so they just blanked the audio for a moment (you could see Bender's 'lips' moving just the same).

Bet it won't stop C4, though. Hell, they'll probably cut the entire song just to make things easier for themselves!

At least blanking it out's preferable to what C4'll do to it.

Broadcasters are stupid. Why put shows on at times that are wholey unsuitable for the material of the show.

Ironically a friend of my mum was saying that she was disgusted by the scenes in Hollyoaks and she would never let her children (aged 11) watch the violent scenes shown on this program at this time. Hollyoaks is one of C4's teen dramas and is shown, uncut, at 6:30pm everyday. You go figure.

So will there be a new episode on Sky next week?
Just to clarify for me, what is the last episode of the last season (and how many seasons are there)?

Heheh, loved when Farnsworth whipped out the shotgun, BAM!!

Funny line sung by the Santa bot:
This would probably be edited out in the song as well.

Well they've got it wrong again because *I* know it's also on Friday too.  :) Next week they seem to be showing S3 repeats (That's Lobstertainment) so Futurama isn't off the airwaves yet although they've repeated Lobstertainment SO many times...

I thought this episode was fantastic, could barely fault it anywhere. Just out of interest, John Goodman did Santa the first time out but I don't recall seeing his name in the credits I don't think - did someone else in the original cast do him then, I mean I'm willing to believe one of the cast stood in for Dan Castanella for the Robot Devil's [great] two lines. That bit was funny  :laff: But did someone imitate John Goodman's Santa for the entire show? They did a bloody good job if they did.

The last episode from Season 4 was Where No Fan Has Gone Before, which was on last week. Sky for reasons unknown except that they are related to FOX, have decided to hold back this episode until this week.

As for how many seasons, well that is an iffy question. The writers created 4 seasons which are identifiable by their production codes (which look like 1ACV09 - the first number is the production series), but FOX with their infinite wisdom have held back so many episodes that they can fill a fifth series with old episodes that they never aired on time.

John DiMaggio did the voice of Santa in this one.  I agree, he did do a bloody good job.  I also liked Coolio's appearance as Kwanzaa-bot.    :D

No, I'm pretty sure it was John DiMaggio.  That's what imdb says too.  Of course, imdb has been wrong before.  ;)

I could recognise certain similarities watching it again - he did do it very well. I LOVED Coolio's role and the traditional Kwanzaa book that he has been giving out for over 600 years entitled "What the hell IS Kwanzaa!?!" makes me laugh out loud just thinking of it  :laff:
