Billy West said in an interview I posted a few weeks ago that the team have "5 years" or "5 seasons" (can't remember which) worth of material.

Actually if MG/DXC/CC authorities etc. have at least a little common sense, then they should really know that most die-hard fans want the "classic" clever Futurama, not a "dirtier" one. In practice they just doing the opposite and laughing at fans for their criticism.
When Futurama initially aired, Fox held them on a rather short leash regarding dirty humor. With the new liberties under CC, the "dirtier" Futurama is basically "classic Futurama as it was initially intended". On a personal note: I do not mind getting the humor dirtier, but it should serve a purpose. Should the writers come up with a hell of a brillant punchline, that only works in a naughty/dirty/whatever setting: Sure, why not. But a mere "We gonna get dirtier for the mere reasons of now being allowed to do so" will imhO not do the trick.

Well FOX loves dirty humor now, thanks to Family Guy. But yet they still couldn't resurrect Futurama for their network........ Instead they have a bunch of Seth Mcfarlane's crap on there (with the exception of American Dad, but I feel as if that's started going downhill too.)

Fry, pre-pheromone spraying, sad and not getting any cause Leela loves herself too much. I wonder if we'll actually get to see much Butterfly Derby action or whether it'll just be the love triangle drama. I'm wondering what the epiphany will be, that gets Leela and Amy off the nectar...
Winners don't use drugs... except Drugman But seriously, idk. Perhaps the Professor comes up with something to make them stop? Also in the footage that was showed at comicon (and in the live stream thing), I like how Fry shrinks back to try and hide behind Hermes, that's obviously pre-pheromone as well. edit: IH: No barfing in the thread!

So Amy is bullying Kif, Leela is bullying Fry, then Fry and Kif take Leela and Amy to a planet where Fry gets sprayed with giant butterfly pheromone? It seems Bender said "plan" in the promotional clip after all.
According to youtube closed captions Bender says 'disadvantage going on'

That video is bad and they should feel bad.
It's (sadly) not the worst Futurama video on YouTube. We have a thread with some pretty awful examples.

Band called Brave Combo have recorded 3 new songs for the ep 'Fun on a Bun'. Two of the tunes are originals and there’ll be a surprise rendition of another song. Article hereee. I'm gonna bet the "surprise rendition" is them doing a cover of the theme song over the intro.

Looking forward to Fun on a Bun... but there's like 2 more eps before we even reach it... any more news on BJE or TSMDM?
Second. As BJE is unfortunately aired today, it's probably not worth any more to put up any more previews.

"Fortunately" for me would be the airing of an episode I consider worth watching even once. (I might have dropped one or two really subtle hints that -after viewing the BJE preview material- I will not watch that episode at all )
Yeah, but I don't want to judge it, not after having expected Zapp Dingbat to good, I felt I was pleasantly surprised. I think perhaps that they kept things from us - I suspect there's a bit more to BJE (TBE? TBJE?) than what they're letting on, so I'm going to watch without expectations and hopefully be pleasantly surprised again. If you're not going to watch it, that's your choice. I find it quite interesting that you don't want to see it, particularly since you draw your women muscly normally anyway... although you're winking quite a lot and I'm not sure if you mean anything by that ._. But I must credit TLF an attention for details, when the small syllable UNfortunately immediatelly caught her attention Especially, when the main focus was expected to be on the "Today"
Well, considering I'm in a different timezone, any reference to a day something's released is going to be vastly different >< So I found something else in your statement to comment on x] Just done some calculations, if the website puts up the episode straight after it's aired, then I'll be seeing the episode early afternoon tomorrow. x_X My brain now hurts and it's late and I'm going to bed now.

About the winking: I was ironic, because my statement why I certainly will not watch TBE was not really "subtle", but rather very clear. (I sent you a PM, as I stated the reasons already in the thread, and do not wish to inflate it wth a too long text)

I went into "Zapp Dingbat" with a pretty good amount of skepticism. I thought there was a lot of potential things the writers would/could mess up in that episode, but I was quite pleasantly surprised with it. I'm less worried about this episode than I was for the last.
Things about this episode:
-It will probably be more suggestive than usual, the way "Amazon Women" was. -The Fry/Leela relationship will hit a snag, because Fry will sleep with Amy. Oddly, Leela seemed angrier at Amy than Fry for this from the clip. I think it will end with a positive resolution, but don't put money on that. And I think Fry's sleeping with Amy will not be purely on purpose. -Kif will probably play an interesting role. Kif's a wimp, yes, but I don't think he'll stand meekly by for the whole episode, even he'll act if he's bothered enough. -Someone's going to have to get Leela and Amy off this nectar stuff. This season has been using quite a few new, or relatively new, character associations-(Bender and Leela, Farnsworth-Zoidberg-Leela, Bender and Nixon, etc.), so I'll put my guess at Fry-Kif-Farnsworth as the B-Plot characters who set out to do this.
It'll be an interesting episode, I hope it surprises its critics, because in my opinion, this season hasn't had a bad episode yet. "Thief of Baghead" was somewhat average, but no flops yet, and the episodes following this one sound really good.

Since Decision 2012 onwards, every episode I've seen has had reviews like "I expected this episode to be terrible, but I was actually pleasently suprised." Is that what last season did to people? No one expects futurama to be good anymore?
I've noticed that too, but I think it's pretty reasonable. Last season was good, but the episodes were a lot more hit-or-miss for most people, in my opinion. Now that we've seen a bunch of episode "hits" among the general crowd, it seems like Futurama is getting more support this season than last. I think it's a good thing!

Inquistior Hein almost threw away one of his Futurama discs just 'cause it had Möbius Dick on it, just ignore him.
My dear young friend, how should I throw said disc away when I even do not own season 6B. It's a shame that it's got to the point where the summaries of episodes are read and people immediately dismiss it with a...
And what is wrong about that? Those summaries/descriptions/trailers/previews are marketing material. Published to create an anticipation regarding said episode. An anticipation that can range from "Looks like the greatest thing ever" to "Nope, uninteresting, next one, please". Or would you tell people in the cinema (after seeing a trailer and deciding NOT to watch the appropriate movie) that their opinion is invalid, and they HAVE to watch that movie ? For "I do not wish to see it at all" being supposedly an invalid answer? I doubt so...
