I'm predicting the following scores for the first 8 episodes: TBaTB-9.5 FTA-8.5 D3012-8.5 TToB-9 ZD-8.5 TBE-7.5 TSMDM-9 FoaB-10 It's looking quite strong! And the rest for the season (Naturama is neutral as of now) is sounding great. Viva Mars Vegas just sounds super awesome! The past season 2 half seasons were pretty good. But I think for the first time since the original run; this half season is going to be great!

PS: If they DO get married, the Marriage episode would HAVE to be called Space Marriage 30?? !
Don't forget a huge reference to "Space Pilot 300" too!
But I hear what you are saying about consistency, but there are other fans who only bother to know about their relationship status. After that, they personally wont bother with the show. Another thing I said, is that it would kinda be a big step on the series if they did that. And Futurama isn't known for making steps like these. Ya never know though, The Simpsons took big steps around their more recent years (Flanders and Edna). So let's just keep our mouths shut and wait for it. Wait for it......

Maybe Bender could just curl up at the foot of the bed?
Plausible, but inconvenient, would make for some great fanart. Thanks for making me lol. xD SGB: You rating the Butterjunk Effect that low? I wouldn't make a judgement just yet. The only one I'm judging is the first cause there's so much info on it that we can say it's going to be great. Really excited! edit: they're killing the 'not sure if' meme, looking for release dates for Australia and saw the caption for BatB: "Not sure if new episode or just rerun of episode I watched drunk" Speaking of which, anyone know when it'll be on Aussie tv? (I'm assuming channel 11...)

Sounds a bit like "the season's dirty episode", and these are usually not the season highlight.

Amazon Women in the Mood would probably have the same response the Butterjunk Effect has nowadays, if they released a bit of the storyline and the artwork of Amy's ripped outfit and the Amazons.
That's a good point-"Amazon Women in the Mood" was more suggestive than Futurama usually is, but the strong plot and the consistently good jokes (Fry's and Zapp's faces alternating between glee and terror was brilliant) made it an extremely popular episode. I still think the previews of "Butterjunk Effect" are leaving out something that will end up being very important to the episode. My guess is that Fry realizes that the pheromone he got hit with is going to Leela's and Amy's heads and teams up with Kif to get them back to normal-Fry and Kif rarely interact but this episode could force them to. Amy and Leela have always had a bit of a rivalry, despite being on fairly good terms.

Okay...there are tents in the background, and I think I spotted some tiny, normally dressed people. So, it doesn't have to be time travel/freezing related, but could still be some historical re-enactment.

Another thing about the AFWTA:
Someone wondered how Zoidberg could get a seat on board of the Martian Spaceship. The Planet Express Crew discovered that thing, so they might have gotten "auto-seats". Of course, this leaves the question why Bender was left behind: He might have been late due to looting, but also Robots might be per se not allowed to enter the ship (cannot find the clip right now: Where there robots on board of the ship?)
Leaving certain groups behind might also hit the mutants. If Leela was not allowed to board, Fry would most probably also stay behind.

I predict it turns out like an army of cavemen were frozen under ice, somehow they are thawed out, get scared by the modern (future) world and begin to attack. Also, Billy West said: "They have enough story ideas for probably five more years' worth of episodes," he said. "I happen to know that."Source.Billy also said: That's the great thing. It even goes beyond that — there's a real tear-jerker coming up. Source.

The last podcast is out! David Cohen with Billy West and John Dimaggio provide with some very interesting comments (and narrate some storyboards!). There's stacks of some new plot revealing. Here just some on the image below Oktoberfest in Germany - in the future it's classy, but Fry wants to live it up like the old fest and gets drunk and also drinks the backwash out of the spittoon he's holding -ew.

I eager for more plot details of "Fun on a Bun"...
Well, here is a new interview with Matt Groening. Highlight: Zap2it: Over the years, do you feel like the storytelling focus has shifted much? Fry was our way into the show, but it feels very much like an ensemble now. Matt Groening: We've definitely changed the focus. At first we believed we needed to have one normal character at the center of this crazy fictional world, and we realized very quickly that wasn't important. However, it's still fun to see Fry figure things out, and the heart of the show is his relationship with Leela.
And if Fry was the relatable guy at first, he's clearly now not what you would call "normal." No. The tendency in comedy is to have a character who's stupid get more stupid, because you're trying to top yourself and not just repeat. So the writers compete in having the characters do stupid things. One thing we're able to get away with because it's science fiction is we can sever various body parts, but they seem to be able to be grafted back on [laughs] with no scars. And that happens a number of times, in addition to, of course, the various heads in jars in the head museum. So writers purposely make Fry stupider. And the heart of the show is his relationship with Leela. Nice, however I liked "classic" Fry more...

FoaB is looking better and better. It's giving me a really great vibe! I'm redoing my list: TBatB-9.5 FTA-8.5 D3-8.5 ToB-9 ZD-8.5 TBE-8.5 SMDM-9 FoaB-10 Wow. I'm very optimistic.

Hmm. So it appears that the mammoth/neanderthal gig isn't a reenactment but instead is actually Fry leading his prehistoric forces in battle against Zapp Brannigan's flotilla of space ships. Not sure how spears and stones are going to beat space ships but I'm sure Fry will find some way to take advantage of Zapp's incompetence. What's the motive though? A thought occurs: Seeing as how Fry and Leela lose their memories, maybe Zapp and Fry are actually fighting each other over her. Delicious.

I wonder what sort of "accident" would happen with Fry? What can make both Fry and Leela to (selectively?) lose their memories of each other? Maybe it's some sort of Zapp's plan? BTW, "Leela looses her memories and Brannigan taking advantage of it" is going to be a plot device of the next comics issue.

Well..the podcast says that the "sausage making accident" is exactly what to expect. Yet, this accident could still be a rather minor detail, to distract from the main plot. The same way the "“Hermes, my friend, let me cut your umbilical cord!" was delivered in "Rebirth".

I guess that the local sausage is made of mammoth meat. That's why drunken Fry and Bender hunted for a mammoth in the clip. I think the "accident" will happen when some neanderthals discover that. They'll capture Fry and "brainwash" him or something. That doesn't explain the Leela's part, thought.

Sooner or later, the Futurama writing staff won't be writing complete plots any more. They will just mention rough plot details in podcasts/interviews, and then look at the plot-guesses that are voiced in Fanforums. "Hey...that was actually a funny idea. Let's use this one"
