Does Hermes get an Iron Man heart.. b/c it seems that way.

So he's becoming more Brock Sampson esque... cool.

I'm glad this suggests that the dumb Mecha Hermes will only be in a small fraction of the ep... or just in one act.

It seems that implants are to Hermes what butter is to Amy. :laff:

Also, I just saw another ad where a spotlight turret emerged from the top of the PE building and shone the Planet Express logo into the sky like the bat signal. :)

These previews seem to be a little random, which is a good thing.

I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that. It sounds deliciously random.

To be honest, All of 7ACV07-7ACV10 sounds brilliant. Like, a four week streak of excellent episodes.

I fail to see how this will be "epic" or "the best of the season" but I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Today's Countdown item, the 'Mark 7-G Robot'. :D Loving it.

Derp.  They put the scale lines on there but nothing to scale it to.  Probably about as tall as Fry though.

"Mark 7-G" doesn't mean anything to me.  Something from the Central Bureaucracy perhaps?

Well..there is one human body part most suitable to be mistaken for a sausage. Should that be the case, this episode will have difficulties reaching an "epic" scale, but will probably get lots of "Woo-hoo" shouts by Bender :D :p

Today's promos.

Very Frankenstein-y - My guess is that the bottom promo is how he'll look once every metal component is removed...

Looks pretty disturbing... :D

Something that caught my attention, in one of the podcasts, not sure which (possibly the 3rd one), DXC mentions that Bender becoming a photographer in TTOB is just a B-plot, which suggests the 'life-force removal' thing is gonna be more important. They also mention that the process of removing the crew's life-forces is pretty creepy yet sci-fi.

My guess is that the bottom promo is how he'll look once every metal component is removed...

The notes say "Ventriloquist Dummy", and the image is named "Lil Hermes". :p

Oh my. Now that is exactly the kind of thing I wanted from this episode. At least we know now that he won't jump from being a fat bureaucrat to an oversized tank in a few minutes.

Glad to see that it'll be gradual progression.

I'll bet there's gonna be some interesting interaction between he and Bender.

It's probable that Bender will favor the upgrades (with Hermes approaching the highest form of existence, the robotic one ;) ).

After how well he and Bender got along by themselves in LI, I would be very excited to see them hit it off again.  You know, going out and doing robot stuff.

There might also be another (logical) reason for Bender approving Hermes upgrades:

There will probably be two voices in Hermes head, one going "Yep, that's the right thing to do" and the other "Nope, this is wrong, don't".
Showing that inner conflict/though process with Hermes alone is rather difficult .
But it can be done by transfering those inner voices to external characters, with Bender saying "Do it", and another "Don't" (probably Leela as "voice of reason", though she is basically not in the position to critizise someone for becoming over-obsessed with something;) )

They could use the Professor for that role. It could open up subplots involving flashbacks where the he also once decided to be a cyborg (or something).

Yep, theroretically, it could be any character.
The "human turning into a cyborg" plays just too much into the "mad scientist field", that I would really buy Farnsworth objection (personal opinion, of course).

So they use Hermes remains to make a puppet? That is creepy... I imagine it's the Professor's idea... And Zoidberg sees it as an opportunity. :laff:

This episode looks more and more fucked.

Zoidberg performing again is good, he'll probably be a hit with the cadaver puppet.

This episode seems very Sealab 2021 esque to me.

Hermes becomes a Freakbot.. if you catch my drift.

At least say whining cunt.. this isn't 'The Avengers' fourm.

I like the Hermes with the robotic visor, arm and chest... so take that people who think I only hate.

Sorry... that I think Sealab beat Futurama to the punch almost ten years ago... and that they are being far too hard on poor Hermes.

I bet Chubby Carol will have a cameo... she had better.
