Twice, I guess it's just some of his other posts that have caused me to have a low tolerance for him. Sorry Stum.

I can assure you that only a minority think JB is overrated.

It also depends on how "overrated" is actually defined; I wouldn't put JB in my top 10, but I certainly wouldn't call it overrated either.

I doubt the whole forum would get on my back if I said I liked Jurassic Bark. It's still a fairly popular episode, and will probably rank high in the Season 4 Hurt & Heal.

Nobody would blink an eye if you said you liked it. It's about as controversial as disliking "Yo Leela Leela"

Yeah, I'm not really sure why ShinyMetal*** thinks that people would care if you said you like it. No offense though, SMA.

Yeah, I sort of got all dramatic with that, which we all know I usually don't do. I really could care less if he likes it or not, I think I just took out all my anger from some of his other posts in this forum.  :hmpf:

KEEP YOUR COMMENTS IN YOUR POCKET.

Seriously though, someone liking/disliking Jurassic Bark a little more than most others here isn't really anything to get upset about. It's not like they're advocating for the Holiday Spectacular to be ranked best episode ever or anything.

After a recent re-watch of most of Season 7A, I've realized that 'Arms' may not be my favorite episode after all. Sure, it is very funy, and it has a greats tory, but when compared to classics such as Roswell, it's lower quality is more apparent. I'm not saying it's bad, but it simply may not be as good as I thought. With that, here's another revised top ten...

1. The Late Phillip J. Fry
2. Roswell that Ends Well
3. The Why of Fry
4. The Prisoner of Benda
5. Space Pilot 3000
6. The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings
7. Meanwhile
8. Murder on the Planet Express
9. Time Keeps on Slippin'
10. The Sting

Wow, it's surprisingly hard to make a final version of this list.

Am I alone with That darn Katz?

"Saturday Morning Fun Pit" is right at the bottom, at position #140.

"Meanwhile" ranks among my favourites.

Assie Come Home would be near the bottom, pardon the pun.

I'm with the majority here, as 'Murder on the Planet Express', 'Game of Tones', and 'Meanwhile' all made it into my favorites.

'40% Leadbelly' and 'Saturgay Mourning Dumb Shit' are among my very least favorites, however. In fact, they'd likely be in my top ten least favorite.

The only thing I didn't really like about MOTPE was how rushed the ending felt. It seemed like they tried to wrap up the story much too quickly. However, I think the high-quality of the rest of the episode made up for it's ending, and at least the ending was somewhat humorous.

I agree, that episode isn't as great as people make it out to be.  It's great, but not one of the the very best like some people seem to think.

Also, I'd say every three segment episode besides AOI I & II is near the bottom for me.  I like them all atleast somewhat (yes, even SMP) I just much prefer normal episodes.

The only CC run three parter I enjoyed was Reincarnation. All the other ones were terrible, in my opinion, and just made the new run look bad. I think the very worst 3-parter was Holiday Spectacular, followed by Naturama and Saturday Morning Fun Pit.Did we really need a new three-parter every subseason? I think that they should've just continued the Anthology of Interests. At least that way, if the episode was bad, we could've simply assumed that the What if Machine was glitching or something like that .

I thought Naturama was okay; and certainly better than SMFP and TFHS. It was an amusing piece of satire on nature and nature documentaries that managed to retain the spirit of Futurama for the most part. That said, I would've definitely taken "Anthology of Interest III" over it any day of the week.

Saturday Morning Flop Pit on the other hand was a complete and utter failure. The first segment relied entirely on the viewer knowing the tropes related to Scooby-Doo whislt still failing to be funny. The second and third segments were essentially a single joke drawn out for seven minutes each. To it's credit, the "I must get those healthy purple berries!" gag was funny, and so where some of Nixon's edits. But overall it's by far the most unfunny episode of the series for me.

Agreed about SMFP barely being funny. The only things I really laughed at  were Nixon's edits, though after a minute of two they got very tiresome. I disliked the Scooby Doo segment because it had all been done in other parodies before, making it into a sort of rehash. The purpleberries segment was almost embarrassing for me to watch, partly because of how unfunny it was, and mostly because it made me feel like I had popped in an old VHS of Strawberry Shortcake. When I'm watching a parody, I want to be able to tell that i'm watching a fake version, not think that the parody actually is the real deal.  It was saved by the 'Healthy Purpleberries' clips, but even those weren't enough to save the segment.

Meanwhile, Calculon 2.0 and Murder on the Planet Express, for sure. The rest will require multiple viewings.

Also, what's with all these way-too-specific threads you've been making? You're aware that there's a "general Furama discussion" thread for such purposes, right?

No; it's basically the same as what you'd get if a mod merged that thread with the "What's your 2nd favourite episode?", "3rd favourite episode", "4th", "5th", "6th", "7th", "8th", "9th" and "10th favourite episode?" threads.

I don't have anything against Saturday Morning Fun Pit. It had potential to be funnier than it actually was. They didn't really have to be so obvious about what they were making fun of. (for ex. pointing out stuff like them driving through a repeating forest).
I kinda wish it were made in a Anthology of Interest style: (what if we were a cartoon) and in that case only lasted a third of an episode.

Did we really need a new three-parter every subseason?
I believe those were made to keep up with the 26 episode orders. At least we didn't get clip shows.

Are you really that surprised?  I've seen Problem with Popplers in tons of top 10 lists, so I'm not surprised that someone would have it as their number one spot.

I'm starting to let Meanwhile get very close to my number one spot.  It feels like it won't be long before it takes the crown.
