No offense, but this forum has definitely gotten a lot jerkier during the time that I've been gone.
Just ignore it. I do. Where is it that people can't get the podcasts? UK? *squee* El-Man predicted it! Woo! Wonder what's in the Slurm Loco to make Fry glow-y? Are we getting another trip to the Slurm Factory?

Uploaded by the wonderful droobey! Also, that shot of the PE building is awesome! Also also, noticed an error. There's 2 chairs between Amy and Zoidberg, plus Zoidberg is stood up, and the Professor's chair is inbetween Amy and Hermes in this shot... Yet in the shot exactly after this, Zoidberg and Hermes have moved much closer to Amy, the Professor's chair is gone and Zoidberg is sat down...

Don't worry. The person who made that mistake was fired... out of a cannon... into the sun. '...before Fry blew his pants out of the sky, it detected the onset of a catastrophic sun spot cycle' I know I'm taking the sentence out of context, but it's funny by itself. People jumping out of windows: what, suicide booths not good enough for you? This might sound weird, but does anyone else think Amy's voice sounds a little off in that clip?
Maybe Lauren Tom had a cold? I know John DiMaggio recorded some of 'The Series Has Landed' with a cold

Maybe the scenes do cover two different meetings. (It appears to be same meeting, though...)

Not sure...But for the first time in his life Fry's heart was beating out of his chest.

Which site did you pull that from?
Same place where we get all the other preview stuff from, either the Comedy Central website or their Tumblr.

Interesting... Sound sci-fi-y... Maybe about her Mutant-ness?

Maybe about her Mutant-ness?
Well...I hope not. Purple hair, ellbow talons and a singing butt boild already kinda took Leela out of the race for "least mutated mutant ever". I'd prefer that character to remain on the initially planned "except for the one eye, biologically a completely normal, ordinary human woman" concept. The writers already granted her enough unnecessary mutations for throwaway jokes, I'd rather not think about their plans should they wish to put the biological aspect of Leela's mutant heritage in the center of an episode...

Purple hair isn't part of her Mutant-ness is it?
And the Elbow Talons seemed like a quick throwaway gag, and Susan Boil seemed like a one-time thing too.

Yep, at first, I thought Leela's purple hair was kinda "natural" the same way Simpson-y blue hair is. But that colour is rather uncommon among NNY's population, so it appears to be a mutation (Of course, with lots of women dying their hair, none that really attracts attention).

I assumed it was given that both her parents have purple hair
Ah yes, and her Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. *edit* WOW! I'm guessing this is where the Mayan parody stuff comes in. It also reminds me of something you'd see in Doctor Who, and it reminds me of Alien vs. Predator too...
