New member and wanted to say hello. I'm a big fan of the series and always like to learn more about the shows I love.

You took the time to register but didn't take the time to read the manual?



PEEL doesn't do "Hi, I'm new!" threads. You could probably have figured that out by taking time to look through the active thread list, which doesn't have a single one.

Have a read through the manual (and the rest of the wiki), then try posting in some of the episode review threads. You'll either learn how PEEL works in the process, or be crushed to death underneath an avalanche of "STFU, N00b!" posts.

My mistake. I did not see anything on the front page that says 'the manual' so no, I did not read it. I'm in a few different forums for other likes/hobbies and its the custom there to say hello. Thanks for the link, I'll be sure to review before I make any further offenses.

You say that as if registering would take less time than registering and reading the manual.

Considering the number of times I've linked to the manual from threads in on-topic by now, I would expect anybody who has lurked for any length of time to have read it before registering. I would also expect anybody who has registered to have lurked enough to read at least a few threads.
