I like how the PE Ship is just left crammed in the side of the building. :p

What kind of opening is that? I really like this episode, but I'm not going to write a full review before I haven't rewatched it.

A bad one, apparently?

Not necessarily. It seemed to imply a lack of enthusiasm about this particular episode on your behalf, but on second thought, I probably was reading too much into this.

You're right that it's not one of my favorite episodes by any means, but I was mostly just trying for a somewhat humorous way to kick off the thread. Whether or not I succeeded is, I suppose, open to debate. ;)

I bet you simply used up all of your creative intro paragraph writing power working on that history paper, amiright?

Why debate when judging is so much easier?

Your opening was bad and you should feel bad!  ;)

Seriously underrated episode. A great introduction of the robot mafia.

I really like that episode for two reasons:

a) Major interaction with supporting characters. The Futurama protagonists often tend to stay a little too much "among themselves" (This is one of the few things that's better handled by the Simpsons, imhO).
b) It was one of those episodes when they cancelled the severe Mary Sueism (Groening seemed to be so fond in the early days ;)) on Leela  and used her for comedy screw ups like everyone else. And guess what? It worked :D :p

Nice introduction to the Robot Mafia. And the blinded Leela was seriously funny as hell. Alas, the episode could have been better in some ways. It was good though, don't get me wrong. The Comedy/Mafia references made up for whatever felt lost from the ep.

8/10. Good episode.
