Hey -

I've been a fan of Futurama since it first aired. After I found out that FOX was not going to renew Futurama for a 5th season, I was most upset and did everything GotFutrama.com suggested to help save Futurama. I signed the petition and sent off a 1/2 dozen letters to FOX directly and to my local FOX affiliate.

Recently, I've been receiving newsletters from FOX. I know for a fact that: 1. I've *NEVER* signed up for newsletters from FOX and 2. I know that I have asked them to remove me from their newsletter list, at least once before today. I'm starting to wonder if FOX has taken advantage of all the letters that they are receiving by adding them to their newsletter list and spamming everyone. I'd "cut & paste" the newsletter here but, basically, it's an advertisement for 3 of their upcoming games (Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza, No One Lives Forever and Aliens versus Predator 2: Primal Hunt Expansion Pack). Nothing more. I'm curious if anyone else has started to receive unsolicited newsletters from FOX after sending "Save Futurama" e-mails or letters?
Just Chris

Welcome to PEEL, Spudwrench!

Would these games be the type that pre-empt Futurama?   :p

I signed and gave my e-mail in the petition, and I haven't received anything from Fox yet. But the last time I checked my mail was two days ago. Can you re-check the address and see if it's from the official Fox site?

The petition has nothing to do with it. I'm the one who started it and only petitiononline.com themsleves and me have the email addresses. I won't use them for squat and give them to no one.

This doesn't surprise me, I'm just wondering how low they can go.

Hell is too good for Fox, hell is luxury compared to what they deserve.

Let them send their news letters and junk mail. Just refuse to give them any money by purchasing their crap (exept maybe Futurama stuff), this all costs them money. If they send you real paper junk mail, then recycle it, make them spend money on paper so someone else doesn't. Hopefully this will quicken their economic down fall.
