So was Neutopia censored on Channel ELEVEN wednesday night? The total runtime for the episode (in Australia) was 20mins 40seconds? Anyone know what the runtime for the US was and if it was edited in Australia?

The iTunes store lists the run time for "Neutopia" as 21 minutes, 39 seconds, so the episode may have been cut. It did have some risque humor; I'm not an expert on Australia's censoring practices, but that might have affected the run time.

On an unrelated note: Welcome to PEEL! Enjoy your stay here. Be aware that this thread will probably be closed. In the future, questions like this would probably best be put in the Futurama News thread, or even the episode thread for "Neutopia." No harm done, though. Stick around long enough, and you'll get the hang of things. smile

Edited, because I thought 20 minutes and 21 minutes were the same thing. hmpf

I think it's to do with the slightly different frame rates you get in region 1 (NTSC) and region 4 (PAL?).

Basically, the episode is all there, but it runs ever so slightly quicker and this builds up to nearly a minute over the course of the episode. That's certainly the case with region 1 vs region 2, anyway.
