I would like to know if anyone knows in what countries Futurama is broadcast.

I think we had a thread about this, but it was last year so I don't blame you for starting a new one.

I know it airs in the UK, USA and used to in Australia.

Very big in Germany, from what I gather. Although having experienced German TV first-hand a few years back, anything more state-of-the-art than Are You Being Served? would probably do well over there!

Note to Sera:
"Coming soon to an illegal DVD"

I know for a fact they show it everyday in UBC in Thailand. And since Lesotho Leela showed up, I'm wondering if they show it in parts of Africa. I know it's pretty basic in most of Europe, but I'm more interested about other countries.

They stopped broadcasting it here in The Netherlands. I've still seen every episode though. Got a cousin who sends tapes now and then, and if those don't arrive, i always get them somewhere else  :)

Yeah, I know. Denmark is incorrect too, sorta. They stopped after season 2, but I got an email yesterday promising me they'll air seasons 3 and 4 this fall.

Try contacting mArc or Andie through CGEF if you want 'em to upgrade the TV schedule.  :)

In Latin America Fox LA airs Futurama in cable. And I have heard that it has good ratings.

Sorry. Wrong! I heard news that Belgium stopped temporarily to show their own cartoons that had been made, and is being re-started later on this year.

It's shown here on the cable channel FOX8, and the regular network station channel 7 had the option of purchasing season 3, but they didn't and as far as season 4 goes I don't think any of the networks decided to buy it. That means it should be on cable in a few months.

Ten actually beat channel 7 in the monthly ratings for the first time in about 6 years the other day. Poetic justice.

I once saw "When Aliens Attack" when I was in Lanzarote, off the coast of Africa. It was in Spanish.

no, i'm sorry that's not true. and both planetexpress.dk and cgef need an update there.
they stopped showing futurama in germany because it wasn't succesful enough. which doesn't surprise me as the german voice actors all suck.
but it still is a pity that they cancelled it...

[edit]i just noticed apogee pointed that out already.[/edit]

You forgot some: India (the show is broadcast on Starworld), and ISRAEL where i'm from. I now about the program before it reached to Israel. My friend gave me almost all of Futurama's episodes on the computer, but I have some I need to find in order to complete all of the four seasons...

It looks like the only place not broadcasting Futurama is the U.S.!
