I love Futurama and have all dvd's except the new season, or volume or whatever you want to call it. I also haven't seen the new season because it doesn't come on in Canada, and that really cheeses my bean.

Anyway, even if I had seen it I would want the dvd's so without further ado:

Apparently season 6 (if including the movies, I think as season 5) is still going on, on Comedy Central. So, that means that the dvd they released as "Volume 5" is only half of the episodes. Obviously they'll release the other half as well, as I've heard Comedy Central does small, two disc dvd releases anyway.

I'm wondering will they be combined? Like "The Complete Volume 5" or something? Like all 22-26 episodes or whatever it is, on one DVD set?

Or should I just buy Volume 5 and then Volume 6 whenever it comes out?

PS: Sorry if that was confusing.

You're asking if they'll release a volume with all of the 26 episodes they produced in this run despite airing them as two separate runs, or will they just release another set after they air the remaining 13 episodes with just those episodes on it.... so should you buy the dvd set that's out now, or wait for one with 26 episodes on it, correct?

I don't know the answer to that, but I'm guessing that it'll be two separate sets and there won't be a super set with all 26 episodes on it.  If you haven't seen the 13 new episodes though, they're really good and the set is a decent purchase as per my opinion. smile
