Okay so I'm looking through this 'We Love Telly' mag you get with the paper, and here are the descriptions for 2 eps of Futurama, one obvious, one not so obvious...

'8.00 Robot-maker Mom tries to take over the world; 8.30 The gang's dreams come true.'

Wut. The first one is Mother's Day (I'm guessing), but the other? And then I read this:

'The Professor tries out his birth machine. The gang's dreams come true, and Leela and Zapp Brannigan become stranded.'

Now, I think that is the description for 3 episodes, as the next show after Futurama is only on at 9:00 (it starts at 7:30). But again, what the fuck is this dream episode?! I'm thinking it means AOI or AOI II.

TV mags usually package the 2 or 3 episodes as one.

What day is this on?

FFS, my preorder of the 'season 5' blu-ray arrived today, except for whatever reason they've sent me the DVD instead of the blu-ray. So now I've got to send it back and don't get to enjoy it all nice and early as I thought I would. Bloody hassle.

I might just take it out of the shrink wrap and watch it until my replacement blu-ray arrives, it's Amazon's fault after all.

They might not let you return it then.

And damn, that means mine should be here... FUCK. mad And they better deliver the right one...

*edit* Postman's been, just cards... The fucking WAITING...

I'll play the whole "I didn't realise it wasn't the blu-ray" card and will basically be a pain in their side until the accept.

It's Amazon, they're pretty good with this sort of stuff usually, I can't see it being a problem - especially as when I searched on their site for clarification about shrink-wrap, they only made mention of their indigostarfish wing which didn't have anything to do with this delivery.

So yeah, I'm currently enjoying 'Rebirth' in all of its standard definition glory. Can't wait to get to the commentaries.

So the 6B DVD/Blu-ray is out on the 24th September, and as I said in the Volume 6 thread:

So that means Season 6B should be hitting our TV screens around July - August!

Nope, end of this month or early to mid April.

6A started at the end of July and ended in September. The DVD/Blu-ray was out by December. So, if you calculate it, 6B should finish airing in July, which means it must start in April.

I also asked @slurmed on Twitter if the eps would be airing earlier this time, they said:

@DannyJC13 Since Amazon UK added that preorder dates, the #Futurama S6B episodes should have to air earlier...

*slight bump*

I asked @sky1insider if they knew anything about when the new eps will be airing, they said:

@DannyJC13 Futurama will return later this year, we don't have an exact date confirmed just yet.

Whilst I don't use Netflix, I can't imagine for the life of me that they have season 6B available to view prior to it airing on TV / being released on DVD.

Are you sure you watched the new ones on Netflix?

You probably mean 6ACV01 to 6ACV13. We're talking about 6ACV14 to 6ACV26.

Futurama isn't on UK Netflix so there's a great chance he is indeed talking about 6B.

Something I keep forgetting to post in this thread:

I think the DVD/Blu-ray release has been pushed forward due to Sky changing the airdate to a later time. Basically, they want more viewers. Juding by the planned release date of the DVD/Blu-ray, the eps will air anytime between November and January, I'd say. More people are in their homes watching TV during winter, whereas in summer they're out enjoying the weather.

Not that we get any nice weather in the UK. But still, viewers will be pretty high, and more people will see the show, which may (possibly) increase DVD sales.

The people at Sky are idiots, many people have given up hope that it will come on soon so they all watch it on netflix or any other site (or maybe have gotten the R1 DVD). The longer they don't show it the less chances that people will watch
