Ahh man, it's january the 7th today, and when I woke up this morning, I remembered that somebody on here said that the new series would air on Sky1 in the UK today.... so I checked. And the episodes showing at 8pm tonight are... benders big score part 1 and 2.

When the hell is the new series gonna air in the uk? I want the DVDs already!

Hm... It seems they're showing all the films in seperate parts until February, where there's a single listing for an episode (in HD) with no description whatsoever. Perhaps this is Rebirth? Unfortunately, there are no further listings after that.

Bizzarely, there's a news post on the Sky Futurama site saying that there are new episodes starting tonight, which are BBS and TBWABB, which is really weird given that they've been showing them repeatedly for over a year now. :/

You could shell out for a region free DVD player, or perhaps Otis merely uses a region free media player like VLC.

You simply tell the DVD you're an american, and it lets you view it. :shifty:

Of course, if it's a British DVD you want to play in America, you can just drip some tea on it.

Do you honestly think the tea they serve up in the US will do the job?

Confused by the combination of lol and jeez. If you get the joke just lol, no need for exasperation. But speaking of high horses...

It's a joke, sparky. No horses here. Lrn2... whatever it is you failed to do. To be honest, I can't even tell what that was.

I fear that if it does not air we won't get a DVD, and I don't want to buy a multi-regional DVD player and import Season 5 (or 6 or 7, whichever it is, it got messed up with the movies).

Sorry for slight bump and DP, but I was thinking, wouldn't Futurama return on Comedy Central over here too? V-GINY and Magic Marker Penises wouldn't be allowed on Sky One unless it's shown after the watershed.  :hmpf:

It's disgusting that the UK hasn't got this. Yet.

I wonder if anywhere else in Europe has it? (Now that I think about it.)

What if the first half of series 6 airs in Europe when the second half airs in the US? Then the second half when series 7 starts, series 7 when series 8, etc.

Like the comics, 1 comic every 2 months in the US, then 2 comics (put together to make 1) every 4 months in the UK.

Surely it must? Svip, get in here! Who posted that news article on the Infosphere about Series 6 airing on Sky One in Jan this year, but then it turned out to be one of the movies? Who got that info in the first place?

However a date check will confirm that I added that to the Infosphere almost a month after TitaniusAnglesmith said it would air then. His info seemed to check out. My info on the Australian date was correct though. We're all caught up to date here.
