Basically the entire 6th season in one episode.

Even season six's harshest critics generally agree this is a significantly low (if not, the lowest) point. It's certainly not representative of the rest of the season.

Particularly when there's a few of the show's best episodes in said season.

But yes, this particular episode sucks. There's a couple of funny lines but that's it.

"The thirty years squirts" was my only laugh for the entire episode. I've only ever watched this twice (three times if we include commentary) because it was that bad, which is nowhere NEAR my usual quota. Hell, there are even episodes from 7B I've seen at least 3 or 4 times now.

I think I've seen it only three times as well: When it first aired, when I bought the DVD, and when I watched it with commentary.

I suspect SMFP will receive similar treatment.

I didn't think this episode was that bad actually.

I've seen it maybe three or four times, including the commentary. I recall the commentary team making a big deal of the Albino Humping Worm gag, probably because they knew it was the only decent part of the episode.

Like every other episode before 7B, I've watched this more than five times. I really don't think this is extremely bad, like it seems to be stated as in every other General Disscussion post. It just wasn't good.

I see I've voted 2/10 for the poll. My ranking system generally is shifted upwards, I think, and not following Gaussian distribution... :hmpf: I really should do something, but I'm already in my pyjamas.

My views of this ep will always stay at a low 5/10. Like Family Guy in Space.

Only decent part of the ep was Robanukah.

6/10 5/10 from me. This episode was just too boring for me, especially during my second viewing. I wish they would've just done a regualr X-mas episode with Robot Santa and deadly rampages instead of this crap.

As I said in a previous thread..
I'd liked to have seen a proper Christmas episode in the new run, with Robot Santa and deadly rampages and things like that. The Holiday Spectacular was a poor excuse for a Holiday Special, especially when comapred to Xmas Story and A Tale of Two Santas.

6/10 is still a decent-ish score, considering what you said.

True. Make that a 5/10.  :nono:

My only vote below 6/10 on any Futurama ep.  I gave it 1/10, but if that had been based on logic rather than emotion I probably would have given it a 2/10 or 3/10.

I've never liked episodes with Santa Bot in them, and this one was no exception. But it wasn't absolutely terrible. I even laughed a few times.
There was a small part that I thought was well placed: when picking up the instruments under their chairs, the Professor has a violin, Zoidberg an accordion, and Fry a holophoner. That was a good touch. Bender's song was also pretty great.
But after that, it just became kind of boring. I mean, Kwanzabot's song was pretty funny, but that was it.
It had its good parts and its not-so-good parts. Overall, I'd give it a

4/10

It was close to a 5/10, but the second act failed to hold my interest for very long, so that took it down a peg.

The first two songs have the same tune. I can't like either one because of that.
