"Fry Em The Eggman" is the first plot in ages that I feel absolutely indifferent about.

Strange. I feel indifferent about all of the plots.

I will admit that I'm not gung-ho about any of the plots, in a "This will surely be brilliant" way (which is how I felt about "The Late Philip J. Fry" after the first teensy plot synopsis we got), but I wouldn't say I'm indifferent. If anything, I like how none of the episodes--based on what we know of them so far--seem derivative or easily compared to episodes of the past (though "Neutopia" obviously seems to have shades of "Bend Her"). I mean, "Fry Am the Eggman" just sounds bizarre, and so does "All the Presidents' Heads"...but I mean "bizarre" in the nicest, most optimistic way possible.

Speaking of bizarre, today's update sheds some light on Mobius Dick, confirming that the whale has some history with P.E.:

That's interesting, it would seem that he's 60 years old. Also, interesting that the Professor is calling him by his first name. Well then. Maybe Mobius Dick is the episode that sheds light on Zoidberg's past and not ... that one with the iceberg title.

Interesting storyboards anyway. :p

He's actually older, since the Professor (and Zoidberg) aged (Prof.=170) and Zoidberg must had already had an age, so he's around 80 now..?

Well that is weird, very weird, appropriately weird seeing as its Zoidberg...

Just because Dr. Zoidberg is over 60 years old, doesn't make Zoidberg "old". Decapodians may age differently than humans.

Weiner, note how even though Comedy Central totally mixed up the order of the episodes, "Mobius Dick" still precedes "The Tip of the Zoidberg" (just now directly), "Mobius Dick" may be a lead-in (in-part) to "The Tip of the Zoidberg". I think, though my thoughts are pretty much debunked otherwise, that both "Mobius Dick" and "The Tip of the Zoidberg" would air on the same night. We have yet to receive air dates for "The Tip of the Zoidberg", "Cold Warriors", "Overclockwise", and "Reincarnation".

Yeah sure, we've seen the generations of his species on Decapod 10 and  the different "states" of Zoidberg, but when these states as a grub took him already 10 years, how long would it had've taken him to grow up to the state in the picture?

That mixed up airing CONFUSES SCIFIFRY!!!

For some reason, I can only read that in Morbo's voice, and read 'scififry' as 'Scruffy'. :laff:

So, that shows Farnsworth as a 100 year old, therefore as he's 170, that's 2941. Zoidberg celebrated 10 years at PlanEx in 3002, so he's not actually an employee in this scene, or he left for a while. Also he's now over 70 years old. The hair is odd as the species has never been shown with it. Either he's got some disease or is trying to blend in.

A 70 year old human probably isn't considered "old" given that middle-age is around 80. Due to 160 being the near death star entry age, not the life expectancy, it may actually be quite a bit later than that

You're right Quolnok, that were my thoughts.
Zoidberg wearing hair also confuses me as his species normally has no hair. But maybe it's just a trend like these crazy-coloured things in THE 80s were.. ;)

He could've forgotten "to" in front of "be". There are many posters here that don't speak English as a first language, and people that type very fast and don't go back to check their mistakes. Please stop correcting other's English, Danny, or somebody will do the same to you.

Maybe Fry zipped up his jacket to hide his pregnant belly.

..sorry I just felt like saying some random BS. lol

It's not a fetish or anything.

Where's Freako? He'd get it.

On topic: Smart Ass Teen was my favourite part of that storyboard. Now when I watch that episode I'll know that they're called Smart Ass Teen and it'll make it even funnier.

I get it, but more importantly :

Also from "The Tip of the Zoiderg". Younger Farnsworth, with younger Zoidberg.

So....Last year I read all these posts and speculations and looked at all the story boards etc. Expected too much from things, And it ended up ruining every new episode for me because I already had someone else's opnion in the back of my mind.
So this year I have not looked at anything. I will watch each episode as it comes, then post my review. I think this is the best way to do it.
