That sounds aweful either way. Why didn't they nominate The Late Philip J. Fry or The Prisoner of Benda...?

It's always those "issue" episodes...Crimes of the Hot, The Problem with Popplers, The Birdbot of Ice-catraz...

I'm not sure where to post this or if some one has posted it before but. Best Animated Series 2010 - Futurama - TV - IGNFirst TV. Com now this yay! _____ After a televisual trial by fire (cancellation, syndication, DVD movies, miraculous cable resurrection, tense salary negotiations, the birth of "fist bumping"), Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest of the misfits over at Planet Express, Inc. came back hard and strong, just the way your mother likes it! With the same biting social commentary that made them famous and got them a fancy award from Guinness for "Current Most Critically-Acclaimed Animated Series," co-creator/executive producer David X. Cohen and the original voice cast of Billy West, Katey Sagal and John DiMaggio returned to tackle Creationism, Robo-Sexual Marriage, Time Travel, Lethal Space Cats, Mutant Rights and more. In a time when Seth MacFarlane shows dominate 72.6 percent of all TV animation, Futurama showed us why it's still top of the heap. "Hooray! A happy ending for the rich people!" Edit: From wiki under Impact (Awards) Other honors
In January 2009, IGN named Futurama as the 8th best in the "Top 100 Animated TV Series".[94]
At the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International, Guinness World Records presented Futurama with the record for "Current Most Critically-Acclaimed Animated Series". And now 2010!

Back to news: There is no news.
The production staff is again/still in limbo and does not know if more episodes are going to be produced. That's the status as of yesterday. Deja Vu? I think that has happened before. Now if I can just remember when...

Although it doesn't say anything about the "next season", it does say how the fans saved the show. NOTE: It's in the top ten by this article.

Since when did Thursday became the happening night for the best shows? It's like this on every network. I mean I get it, Thursday = big show night for who knows how long. I was just curious if there was a statistical reason involved. Because Thursday night is usually go-out-and-get-drunk night isn't it? Unless I got it wrong and it was stay-home-and-get drunk night...hmm...
