The closest thing to an official Futurama site, Bongo Comics, has now got their announcement of the new DVD set. I found the intro amusing.

ATTENTION, MEATBAGS!  Futurama Volume 5 -- that is, Season 6, or, if you will, possibly in a parallel universe, Season 7-- but really, Volume 5, at least in the United States -- but it will be differently numbered in other territories probably for sure, just to confuse us...

Featuring special guest voices like Al Gore and Coolio, the episode will follow the Planet Express crew as they race to preserve the traditional practices of the classic holidays of Xmas, Robanukah and Kwanzaa. Along the way, they encounter the murderous Kringlebot, Al Gore’s Head-In-A-Jar, mutated pine trees, droidls, fembot wrestling, albino humping worms, Kwanzaabot and giant space bees, all while learning the true meaning behind the holidays with an occasional song thrown in for good measure.

this really is not a spoiler, so i don't think i need to use any spoiler tags...

i looked at all the posts in this thread and did not see anything about this, so i'm sure nobody saw this yet:



i know this pic is old, but i have not seen anyone post about what's right beside it: a pic of a whale from a new episode called mobius dick.

also, i think it's safe to bet that mobius dick is 6ACV15, due to the fact that the silence of the clamps is 6ACV14, and the holiday one is 6ACV13.

We have seen this picture before, but I am glad you brought it up again, now it is obvious which is going to be Möbius Dick.  The picture is even included in the "The Silence of the Clamps" article.

I could at least say that I did not think that 6ACV15 was "Mobius Dick" at first, but yeah... it seems likely.

I posted the exact same idea some pages ago (perhaps in some other thread...)
But I think most people do see Futurama on the air in...   let's say 2 years. Let's just hope that Futurama will stay on long "enuff" to satisfy us fans.
Which should be FOREVER!
We'll just have to wait and see what happens, Futurama is already the best animated series on TV.

This new batch of Season 6 should be even better than this first part.
