I think we'll get exactly that. Being that Fry and the Professor seem to be the only survivors, it's very likely this will happen.

Also, I laughed that they called Kif a "Moistoid" instead of Amphibiosan.

I think we'll get exactly that. Being that Fry and the Professor seem to be the only survivors, it's very likely this will happen.

Not for those of us who are anti-Fry/Leela.

I wouldn't take this as a complete confirmation of a reset. All the review says is

"At times I even found myself upset that Fry wasn't with Leela and it made me take a step back and remind myself that it's just a show."

To me, that sounds like the episodes have a Fry/Leela focus and for at least some of the episode, Fry isn't with Leela. They may well reset it all again, but they may well just drag it out for a bit of rebirth then have them getting together. Either way, David X. Cohen confirmed that they're going to be dating in this season at some point, didn't he? Or did I imagine that? I doubt they're completely resetting things.


Also, Mauriche's comments are very nice to hear.

Also, the new image is interesting. I hadn't considered that they might meet characters they know 1,000 years into the future.

I suppose there's a good chance that they'll run into Bender 1,000 years on too.

And Amy's robot body might not be down to her riches, rather technology that exists even further into the future that Futurama is usually set in. Although, it is most likely down to riches.

Eh, that doesn't particularly surprise or concern me. It's not entirely dismissive--"Fry wasn't with Leela" is a vague way of putting it, anyway; the optimist in me thinks it could just mean that they're not together, physically, but rather separated by someone or something--and I really don't think the writers are dumb enough to reset the relationship entirely. I'm just waiting until I can see the episodes for myself.

Eh, maybe I did misinterpret what that guy meant in his review of the premier episodes. All evidence does point against a reset and Fry and Leela are separated for large chunks of both episodes of the premier. Thanks for keeping spirits up, Gorky (and you too, cyber_turnip).

Technically, Amphibiosan is a fan devised term that accurately describes citizens of any planet in the Amphibios system (including Kif's species and the froads). Moistoid may actually be the official species name, we've just never been told.

I believe Rebirth will have a major Fry/Leela plot. Fry and Leela probably won't be together for the majority of the episode..due to the fact that there will probably be difficulties in rebirthing Leela. So as long as they don't ignore the Fry/Leela relationship (which i believe will obviously not happen) then I'll be extremely satisfied.

In this case the title makes sense as a parody/pun of the phrase mentioned on your site post. Having just read the synopsys of that comic, I'd say with a bit of a rewrite it's definitely episode material if my guess has come to pass.

Well, episode 6acv24 will air in 2011, so there's a lot of time to think about plots.

All seasons were amazing......

I have to agree with you here.  As I've caught them all out of order over the years, I don't know much about which episode belongs to which season other than the minute changes over the years that may give it away.   But I don't think I could personally say there was a bad season.

With each successive promo and picture I've seen, I'm just getting more and more excited.  I can do this though, we've waited long enough!

That would be great. That comic was one of the best Futurama Comics I've read, and I remember thinking it was episode material...
