Hi. Long time lover of Futurama and haver of the DVD's, I just have a tiny quick question about the new episodes of Futurama.

Will they only, only ever, EEEEVER be on Comedy Central?
This may have been asked before by poor peasants like I with very limited satellite channels. In fact, I'm not even sure Comedy Central is listed on our Satellite's guide... there's comedy W, and comedy E, but I think those are native Canadian stations. Plus, we don't get those either. Heh.

So, is there any chance of them being on like an alternate network or something? Like how sometimes we get shows that say stuff like "ABC" or "FOX" on "regular" peasant-vision channels, if that makes any sense?

Who's to say? Perhaps sometime in the future they'll be on a normal FTA channel, but when? *shrug* Might as well consult a psychic.

I actually slightly meant when they first come on but I suppose not.

It'll probably be on channel ten in Australia, but I'll still watch it on CC for the helluvit.

I have a feeling that in Canada, Global OR Teletoon will show the new episodes.......but I think they will start showing them sometime later than june 24th.

Well, we only get Teletoon retro, but if Global shows them, awesome! Do you have any idea or info when they would show them? Currently on Globals "animation domination" lineup, 3/4 shows are Seth MacFarlanes and there doesen't seem to be "room" for another show. I wish the Cleveland show would get canceled or something.

You're not the only one who wishes Cleveland would get cancelled.   I truly hope you get to see the new Futurama where you're from.   I prefer it to be on Comedy Central rather than FOX.

Too bad Comedy Central isn't all over the world, that way fans of Futurama all around the world can see the new episodes.

They'll be ... accquirable... in some form or other almost immediately after they've aired. That's how I'll get my fix.

Here in Canada, Teletoon has the rights to air the reruns of Futurama.

Over the past two years, Global has aired the Futurama movies in their entirely on Sundays nights when Fox has aired cr@p like NASCAR, which why I believe that Global still has the exclusive rights to air new episodes. Unfortunately, Global hasn't advertised that they'll be airing the new episodes of Futurama, so who knows if they ever will.

If the new episodes of Futurama should air on any Canadian network, it should be the Comedy Network, which is the Canadian equivalent of Comedy Central. However, the Comedy Network doesn't even air Futurama reruns, so I doubt they have the rights to the new episodes of Futurama.

I wish Futurama was airing on Canadian television at the same date and time as Comedy Central, but I'm content with simply downloading them the next day. I'd d/l them anyway so that I can watch them on my laptop or iPod where I go.
