I assume it was private, much of this is pretty close to the people working with it.  Besides, I doubt they would make a public screening of the new footage before showing it to the producers anyway.  At the very least, any public screening would have had to be through some approval measure anyway, so that'll take time.

The same news story made it to The Futurama Point (http://slurmed.com/news/2010-03-12/futurama-season-6-video-format-special-guests-and-progress), which contained a bit more detailed information regarding who said what.

Our sources for this kind of information remains people inside the production team who posts this information around the Internet.

Long story short; it was a screening to the producers, but it marks a milestone in the production of the new season, because it means that the animation team is working quickly.  And most definitely will make it by June.

It is good to know that there has been a screening, since it definately does pave the way for airing in June.

I'd love to be fortunate enough to see something like that, but as far as I'm aware the only thing they've made public was the storyboard animatic for the first 3 minutes of "Rebirth"

Which was awesome.

thanks for the info. i recently checked out slurmed.com for the first time and noticed that they had sources, which answered my question right there.

i guess i learned my lesson. gotfuturama.com only has basic news. the only issue with slurmed.com is that they post news for fanart and such. oh well. i should just be thankful that there are futurama fan sites at all, and better yet, there is a new futurama season.

i saw it too and had mixed feelings. showing all of the characters bodies and being bone seemed a little out of character for the show. i dont know, i guess ill have to wait and see what they do with it.

We expected to see the character's bodies being bones, that's what the preview at last year's animation con showed.   You just know they're going to be okay.   I only saw the 30 second promo, wish I could see the 3 minute preview.

Youtube is your friend, though you might have to search around a bit for one that's actually viewable. It took me a few attempts to find one with good sound quality and reasonable picture quality.
