Do you still watch Futurama, either old DVD eps or when it's on TV?

I don't watch Futurama at all anymore. I've seen all the eps & movies so many times I'm bored with them. I don't even keep up with Futurama news. Are there anymore movies past the 4th one?

Haven't seen the third DVD movie, and I only caught the end of the forth one the other day on TV. They really are a pale imitation of the show at its peak - too fucking shippy, and the jokes are either flat or unfunny references to earlier, actually funny, situations in the TV series. For that reason, I feel a bit uneasy about them bringing it back for good.

I still watch a few season 3 and 4 eps on DVD every now and then. They were really hitting their straps around that time.

Total strap-hitting during season 3. Winna gave me the season 3 DVD. Jealous?

Have not yet seen the last two movies, although I bought the first two... they were a bit depressing because (all the stuff Ben just said).

Watch very occasionally on DVD, and if it's on TV, I usually tune in. Although the last time I actually watched an episode on television was in the hotel just before I met up with you folk in Sydney.

Edit: Eugh. It's like rape. Also, this sort of needs to belong in Offtopic... it's totally redundant in General.

I still watch at least one or two eps, or one movie every day. I should say I listen to them everyday as I usually have them playing while I am cleaning snake or gecko cages (I breed them so I have quite a few cages to clean), or when I am going to sleep. I am actually watching/listening to BBS right now

MODS: Can you please move this thread back into OffTopic? I was looking forward to reading what the OT folks have to say considering that most stay in that area and rarely talk about Futurama. OT is essentially a whole different board to that of the ontopic areas. Of course the GD regulars watch Futurama.

I didn't hate the movies? That's probably an endorsement.  :)

The first one was pretty painful, but the last movie would probably have been a good send-off!

Ribbons, you shouldn't be driving a wedge between the OB/GYN factions. :(

It does seem like this thread is more suited to off topic. If it was made for General Discussion you'd think it would be called "How often do you still watch Futurama?"

I watch through all the seasons and movies in order every few... Months, I guess?

Why would I do that? You'd think I'd just be able to watch individual episodes and then go onto something else...

I drag the DVD's out and watch an episode now and then, probably a couple of times a month (on average) at present.

I still watch it on DVD.  And the movies once in a while.  I don't watch it on TV anymore.  Waiting for the new episodes to do that!

i sleep with the tv/dvd player on. so i go through all the episodes, then the movies, then usually choose another series like sealab 2021 or dungeons and dragons to go through. once that's done i go back to futurama.  i just never seem to get sick of futurama no matter how often i watch them.

I watched the series again last year, I bought the boxed set of the films and watched the first two in the last month or so.

I watch it pretty regularly; I like to catch the episodes when they air on Comedy Central, if they're particularly good/ones I haven't seen in a while. And sometimes I'll pop in a DVD and watch some episodes, but I haven't had a real marathon per se since the summer. I don't really have the time. Still an avid fan, though; hence all the posts I make in General Discussion.

I haven't seen it in a while but all of the episodes and the movies are in my computer. So when I do watch it, I usually start from the first to the last episode. Just like Igner_Farnsworth, I'll leave them on so I can just "listen" to them while I sleep on surfing online.

Futurama never gets old. It's just too darn entertaining :)

I always watch it on TV when I'm channel surfing and see it on, but sadly, I don't pull out the DVDs that much anymore.

Someday soon I want to go through the boxsets and rewatch all the episodes before the new Season premieres this spring.

Exact same thing. I honestly have no idea when it's on now since it switched to Comedy Central. It feels like they change the time every few weeks there. Sure, it's earlier, but at least on [as] I knew exactly when it would always be on.

And I brought all my boxsets and movies with me to college, one snowy day I'll sit down and watch them all. And you have until June 10th to watch them all, Nasty. Still plenty of time.

Still catch the episodes on Comedy Central if I'm up (they're on at 1am).  Also watch the episode DVD's every now & then.  Like Morgan said, they're just too darn entertaining...

I used to watch at least two episodes a night while lying in bed on my portable DVD player,
Then I stopped for a couple months, then started again for a few month months and now I've stopped, I don't know the meaning of the word moderation so I have that weird pattern.

Oh hey look it's back. I never quite understood why someone who never liked Futurama would register on a Futurama forum just to ask for a screenshot from one of the movies when they could've just searched for Freako's work if they really wanted to see some Futurama nasties. Or, come to think of it, why they would hate a show they claim to never have watched... :hmpf:

My guess is he was trying to make it as un-funny as possible so left out the pathetic smelly comedy gold.

That is misuse of talent.

Yeah, I still watch Futurama, quite a lot. I even write fan fics, draw fan arts to upload onto the Internet.

Why the hell is this person here?

Shot go to "the turanga pages". Plus only once was both Leela & Amy lesbian and that was in Bender's Game, and to what was happening in Spanish Fry with Leela and Amy in the tent but nothing happened. You know I bet you even like Futurama and bought the DVDs if you hated Futurama so much you wouldn't of even known there was a lesbian scene, because what you've said here, and before doesn't really add up, it's like you're some sort of Internet Troll.

Edit and posts before this from you have showen you have seen the episodes where there not just Leela and Amy being lesbian which only happened in Bender's Game, therefour your statement/sentence is nonsense here. And if you have not seen the show however unlikely other than where Leela and Amy being lesbian which only happened again in Bender's Game how can you judge a show you watched so little of?

Did you read IMDB? They have it 92/100.
